Games that need remakes

Knowing that doesn't really enrich my life any. Not my fault Nintendo can't get it right.

 

Its not that nintendo can't get it right, its that you just don't like their games. Millions would disagree that any of their games are bad (Though Metroid Other M was a total shitfest). Just because you don't like it doesn't make it bad, I don't like Pokemon one bit, doesn't make it bad though.

Anyways, getting back on topic. Metroid Other M needs to be remade. Into a good game, with good writing, a non linear game, in the CryEngine or Frostbite 2, in fact lets just make it Prime 4 by Retro Studios and be done with it.

 

For anybody that is unaware, Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3 were remade on the Gamecube a number of years back, and they look phenomenal. It may not be HD, Blu-Ray graphics, but it gets the job done fairly well. I wouldn't expect another push through of the first three games until next gen.

 

Actually I'm pretty sure they are being re-released on Xbox 360, as an on-demand game, not store bought.

 

If anything, they will probably just be the PS games ported. A full HD remake would premier on the PS3 before the 360 in terms of RE. Hell, the 360 got its first real RE game when 5 was released on it.

 

So did the PS3.

 

I should say a Microsoft system, but regardless, the first three RE games have been on the PSN for a fairly long time.

 

If you can't step away from your own opinion for a second to look at facts, you'll only come off looking bad later.

 

What facts am I overlooking? They don't have many games that I like. That's summed up all I said right there. I don't like Nintendo anymore.

okami, i would really like to play it on my ps3... with less jagged lines to make the brush-like cel-shading even more beautiful :X

i've never played it until okamiden, now i want to play it on my ps3...

 

It wouldn't surprise me if they came out with an HD version.

Legend of Dragoon from the PS1

This is my 3rd favorite game of all time! The only two i like more are Black Ops & either Mortal Kombat Trilogy or Super Mario World.
But yea I would loove to play L.O.D in HD! Just picture it....yeah. First off, i hate that circle when you attack with your dragoons, just make it like regular additions, but leave it the way it is as far as no leveling it up. Also, it could use a few modifications to the Dragoons' att/def & Matt/Mdef. For example, Dart does not have a high enough Datt/DMatt. Also some new weapons and armor couldn't hurt. And there should be armor and weapon upgrades for your Dragoons in a few special "hidden" shops throughout the game or something like that. The treasure jars, blue birds, and other special enemies should have just one less hitpoint, but the yellow birds are easy enough as they only have 4HP. And one more thing, the storyline bosses should have more HP and just a tiny bit weaker magic attacks. The optional bosses should have stronger physical attacks unless their focus is magical (Faust, 1st Virage, etc.). After all that, this game would be freakin perfect & number 1 along with the next game I will speak of.

The second game that should be remade is Super Mario 64.
With better graphics and a smoother control system (not that it wasn't smooth, because it was) this would take the cake as my favorite game ever. Also some new enemies/harder enemies & MORE LEVELZ!!!

 

Super Mario 64 has been remade for the DS FYI.

The graphics have been smoothed out (though still a bit blocky) compared to the original N64. Controls take some time to get used to but it works well enough. They've also added 1 more power star to each world (which means there are now 7 stars to collect from each world instead 6 - not counting the 100 coin star) and changed the some preexisting ones. There's also new hidden worlds with hidden stars as well. But I think the most drastic change is.. You get to choose to play as either Yoshi, Wario, Luigi and of course Mario!

 

not Halo. Man, when they are really going to stop? They always say it is the end and now they make a rebirth...

Anywho, I would like to see a remake of Super Mario RPG...I would say 3DS, but Paper Mario's on there now, which is kinda weird. And I ain't even gonna say their main console. I wonder if the Mario & Luigi series still gonna be Nintendo handheld, tho.

 

They should remake Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D as a full game. Trolololol.

 

By now I should be using Wesker's Powers, I dislike it when the Developer of a Game gives the Game more than the Player. As a Cheater I require substances, but there is no limit what a person could want. Though to the need is different. One could come up with a thousand idea and those ideas could be put to use. Image how there is more than one of us.

A lot of games could be updated, upgraded and modified with mods, patches, remakes and New Titles.

For one
Final Fantasy Series could have combined all there battle types, characters and stories into one game. I once had an idea to make a game with 2 battle systems, being a Turn-Base, Real-Time and Tactics.

For FF12 I would have like to go in real-time and at the same time I was happy that I didn't have to run into a battlefield, in fact it reminded me of Chrono Trigger's battle system.
A run Feature, a vehicle, battling in the sky, the sea, going online & offline with the same account, a server for Cheaters, being able to assemble my weapons, customize the vehicle, etc.

And guess what I just about named every game. If one game had everything then one would probably never play another game.

The game I would like a Remark is True Crimes: Streets of New York and the game I would like them to finish is True Crimes: Hong Kong.

1. User friendly Controls; Using more than one action per button
2. User friendly way of choosing music; Add music to your Favourites, Play only favourites
3. User friendly Special Moves; using certain keys like quickly Press Brake twice to do a 180 degree turn and press Accelerate twice to use Nitro
3. Being able to keep all Fighting and Weapon Fighting styles
4. Having more Shops open Late
5. Choosing what you where to any where
6. Having an actual Partner; Like a Rookie Cop you could grow up with
7. Having a SWAT team and getting to play as one
8. Getting in and out of vehichles quickly
9. Actual Blood
10. Being able to go back to Default Hairstyle & Cornrows
11. Being on the top of a Building
12. Better Borders like GTA 4
13. Able to change your default Melee & Arms weapon.
14. Etc.

 

i think the idea of phantasy star online would be awesome but the changes i would ask for would be tweaked graphics camera used to snap creatures and sell for extra meseta and dlc missions and use streetpass to buy uniuqe content but keep the music the same as the sewer worm battle (De Rol Le) was my fave battle but online it was unforgetable playing with complete strangers then fighting like hell

the fire emblem series i can see happening as its got alot of attention since they re-released the first nes version on the ds so its possible we may see fire emblem soon...... we hope
