If it burns RW discs, it'll burn -R discs, just like loony said.

Second one is the DVD drive right?
    If so, then that one.

BAH! ...and I get totally ignored. :p

Better get Dolphin while your at it until you get your Game Cube modded or your going to have a stack of discs and nothing to play them on.

You don't need to change the gcm to iso if burnt via img burn.

Gamecube does have 2 other methods, one is the annoying "stream" method requires a cat5 internet cable, a gamecube with a broadband adapter, a REAL copy of phatasy star online (non plus version) and a program on your pc to link it all....

Problem is, it's old and no idea if it works well on windows 7 (i tried on vista...it worked but no results), requires EXACT ipadresses to be used for linkage, and the games WILL lag because they are being streamed...

The other method is like the swap disc method used for ps1/ps2 games, requires a special memory card to boot the code and it's very hard to find...I don't even know the name.

I just got mine chipped, and avoid doing it yourself, the laser pot needs adjustment and you need the right tools to do that, as well as soldering the chip into the gamecube...

(I do know a site that could help with the memory card booting, pm me with the subject "memory card booting for gamecube" and I'll pm the site)

Alright, I will get Dolphin. I was thinking of doing it in the first place.
Alright, so I get the burning process now.
    >_>...
Stupidly, I really don't want to get my GC modded.. But I guess I'mma have to.

when you say iso im guessing you mean games?
if so it depends on your likings, for example if you like action/adventure games - zelda, if you like fighting games soulcalibur 2.
thats all there is to it, maybe even google good gc games

Oh, so there's different ISO's for different types of games?
So if I wanted to burn Mario Party 7
    I would download a; Action,
    kinda thing...?

    A good burning program works.

Google "img burn", better than nero and it's free.

Best site is ...well for NSTC games RIGHT HERE for gamecube games.

Me ethier, I paid someone else to mod mine.

Dolphin is good if your pc is powerful enough and willing to miss out on a few games due to compatibility.
