Game OMG Moments

The first one is the obvious one - Final Fantasy 7 when Aeris is killed, my jaw hit the floor as I watched it happen then the bastards at Square hit us with THAT music, you know the one and suddenly you can feel the tears welling.

The second and possibly best WTF moment and it is the moment that flat out said to me "You NEED to get a PS2" was the end of Metal Gear Solid, the credits roll and it looks like it's over and then you hear Ocelot talking to someone about the Metal Gear Plans, and the conversation ends with Ocelot saying "Yes, Mr President!". I sat staring at the screen in amazement, and Metal Gear Solid 2 was still 3 years away at that point.

 

I had a lot of WTF/OMG moment. My most recent is when I play mother 3. I almost litterally laughed my ass off when Wess do that crazy "unlock dance". I was watching and shouting "Yeah yeah, shake it baby".

When I got Perfect World and I found out I could be a furry ^_^

 

With 5 pages so far in this thread I am glad I am not the first to come out with this. I guess we are both getting old. It was my Jr year in HS and I will never forget the day. Then there was everyone saying "you can get her back with this secret code" but it never happened.

+1 This was my OMG moment as well.

 

The first phoenix wright was the most humorous, which is funny because this game deals with murders. The other two is more dark and serious. And Apollo Justice is a bit disappointing.

 

Anyone Played Out of this World AKA Another World ?
Well in the First First Lvl. i go right through the 1st Scroly thingy, then i see 2 little Snail lookin thing, well i jumped over 1 of them n then the other gets me, Gives me a little Scratch, and then the game goes "GAME OVER"

im Like WTF?

Everyone, go get urself a Snes Emulator n get this game n check it out for yourselfs. ITS GAY !!

How does a little Scratch Murder you? How? not even a Mad Poisanous Snake Does that. well atleast youl survive for a few minutes or something but he dies Instantly. Some gay shit.

When I saw the Midgard realm dragon In Dark Ages of Camelot. It was a magical site to behold, then he insta killed about 15 of us =(

 

Perhaps that snail is the Grim Reaper!

 

Final Fantasy X when you find out that Auron is already dead and hasn't been sent yet.

 

As a relatively young gamer with a horrible memory, i can't remember many of mine. But i can say that when playing Star Wars The Force Unleashed, the section where PROXY comes out and starts trying to kill you then goes "Master, i have been saving this one for many years" then he becomes Darth Maul (double lightsaber and all) and the duel music from Episode 1 kicks in. Then you eventually after quite a fight kick that damn robots ass and you stab him into a wall. But the sheer fact that they randomly made Darth Maul pop up, be all pwnage with his music and be an awesome dueler was just so OMG/WOW!!!

 

1. When Aeris from FF7 died.
2. When I learned you can use the nikita launcher when fighting the sniper in snow in Metal Gear Solid Snake PSX
3. When I finished the last boss of Thousand Arms with barely any effort.
4. When I saw the Omnimon in DW2.
5. When you can decapitate people in Xena:warrior princess PSX.

I was Playing the game but im at the Far Plains and its TOOOOOOOOOOO DAMNNNNN FARRRRRRR to reach the other side. i cant be botherd to fight ALLLLLLLLLLLL those monsters im going to find trying to get there. Its TOOOOOOO much work.

1. when i beat FOX in NFS
2. when Aerith dead
3. when sephiroth was a good soldier in FF VII CC
4. when i get mew on PokE Yellow
5. when i get 118 heroes in suikoden II

 

When I got Celebi in Silver

 

1-people worshiped an atom bomb in Megaton , i was like OMG?!
2-When i found out secret chapter enters in SMB.

3-This one is too special for me :

Remember CoD4 campaign?? There was a mission that we must snipe down a person ? Where ever u aim , it hits his arm ... I was like "OMGROLFLOLZ??"... How could this happened in a AWSOM game?

4-At MGS4's end... NO SPOÄ°LERS
5-When i opened MultiP. of CoD5's create a class , saw no "sniper" part... I dun remember rest , when i opened my eyes , i was in a hospital...Damn , what a shock!!

later learned that BoltAction rifles had a sniper scope attachment

 

I was surprised as well. I loved how it ended though. Truly an OMG moment. I love how they tied everything together. There was more than one OMG moment in the ending.
