You open them in Notepad as said above, and they provide information about the file or download and also who provided it etc.

  6. ohhh...it always tried to open them up with something else....go figure XD

Thanks heaps for this 'fool-proof' tutorial. It was just what i needed being as bad with technology as I am. Have been trying to put games on the cyclods all day and was about to throw it because I kept getting the white screen and no games. Had I of read the forum earlier I would not have ended up so frustrated.

    Thanks again

It would be lovely to know about the people supplying the rom, but I only get about 1 in 20 nfo files that can be read.

Personally I use DAMN NFO Viewer, but notepad works as well, though formatting might be somewhat messed up.

.nfo files are great in Notepad, they're mostly written for Notepad.

That's entirely untrue, they're not written for any specific program, they're written following a specific charset and notepad just happen to support that partially. If you want to see how a NFO is truly supposed to look then get something designed to view them such as DAMN NFO Viewer, it's free.

Hey i did as instructed but instead of NDS. file I got BIN. and CUE.

Im trying to get a Megaman.rar file into my PSP.

    Help please?

.NDS is an NDS rom so it does not apply .bin and .cue are PSX iso image files.
