I have a flat screen TV. I also have a flat screen monitor. I've got my old gamecube hooked up to my TV and it works just fine. Could somebody please tell me if it's possible to hook my gamecube up to my monitor?

not without a converter box, monitors and tvs work with different signals.

Loony, if monitors and TV work on different signals, why can you use a PC with either?
Is it because HDMI is universal or something? So, like, what if you hooked up your GameCube with an HDMI cable?

you'll need a converter to do that.

HDMI isn't really a computer interface, but computers support it. Whst he's asking about is analogue signals not digital such as HDMI. Gamecube cannot output HDMI therefore he'd need a converter box.
