You have to change the Game ID of the cheat entry on your database to match the patched ROM.

It's the Japanese rom, not the US rom. So the AP is different.

Can someone tell me is the jap version of rom from romulation pre patched with AP patch?

No, the roms you download from romulation are clean, unpatched.

I downloaded the roms from Romulation, and then proceeded to patch them with the patch linked in the first post.

This is the Jap version of the rom that is pre-patched with an English translation of the dialogue, menu, pokemon, names, etc.
Correct me if I'm wrong: I don't think the Jap version has AP on the game...

This works for No$GBA on Flash 512kb right?

    Thank you kind moderator.

But i guess the translation patch had an AP patch inside right?

EDIT: OK nvm read the previous posts.

Wow! So the Jap version has a completely different AP than the US version?
This works for No$GBA on Flash 512kb right?
Edit: Never mind! I just read the GBAtemp forum guide

I downloaded the prepatched heartgold and when trying to open it with winrar or 7zip, i get a message telling me the file is broken. Is there a solution to this?

Also, how could i go about patching the game my self by downloading the rom and the patch seperately? thanks :)

Re-download it using a download manager

Redownload it, you probably got a corrupted download.

Since it is the Japanese game, you will want to use the Japanese cheats entry. Not the US version cheats entry.

Hey guys, anyone know how long the patching process with xdelta gui (instructions from gbatemp) is supposed to take. The instructions say it'll look like nothing is happening while it is patching and to wait. Its been 15 minutes, just wondering if this is normal...

No, the topic you linked was created about three and a half hours after this topic according to the time stamps on the first posts. That's why I locked the topic you just mentioned in favor of keeping this one open.
