Fix R4 SDHC YSMenu problems

i will stay like this :

root/ttmenu/ttmenu/ <---------- is it ok to have 2 folders with same name?

oh you mean having YSmenu on Root and then only 1 folder with TTmenu ok then i will try that out

its wierd your still getting dldi error. you have ysmenu.nds, and ttmenu, right? you can have unpatched and patched games to play on ysmenu. but make sure that the patched game is for ysmenu

 

i finaly got all to work now, everything is working i can play recent games now, but i still get that freezing screen when starting a duel on yu gi oh reverse of arcadia and this is the game that i wanted most xD danm LOL

 

i still want to help though, because im able to play the game just fine. you already have it with fix v 6.24, right?

are you using the (U) version of the game? try downloading the (J) version, it is multi-language, therefore it also has english in it.

yeah, i use this one, i got it since it came out, and had no problems, so i really havent tried the us or eu versions

i have it... mine is R4 SDHC. it's clone right?
i have _DS_MENU.dat, but the loading screen still freeze....T.T

 

normal, _DS_MENU.dat on root its only for normal R4
for R4 SDHC you need like sayed before "but runs as a secondary firmware"
so in other to work you must have "ysmenu.NDS" (for R4 SDHC (clones)) instead of "_DS_MENU.dar" (for normal R4)

you know what? i really appreciate your help but.......................you wont belive it ahah this rom did the EXACT same thing as the other 2 runs pretty good, but when starting a duel i always get that freezing black screen, and everything stops LOL

when you build YSMENU for R4 SDHC you should only have "ysmenu.NDS" and "TTmenu" folder.
as for "_DS_MENU.dat" you should get that from original kernel and not from "ysmneu"
i think you are mixing up both things, theres no "_DS_MENU.dat" on ysmenu for R4 sdhc

 

There is an DS_MENU.dat for YSMENU I use one on mine R4 SDHC!

"DS_MENU.dat" for ysmenu on a clone should freeze at the "loading" part wont boot into kernell

 

@Pagamim but the tutorial said i must download the kernel, so i muat delete everything except "ysmenu.NDS" and "TTmenu" folder?
i put 1 game in the root...and...still not working...

noo xD you must have both kernel (to boot R4 sdhc) and ysmenu (to boot games) files, but ysmenu must be build with "ysmenu.nds" and "ttmenu" folder

should i tell u what i have in my sd card?

 

download the R4 SDHC kernel (version 1.34) copy to root of you micro SD
rebuild the YSmenu like in the tutorial and copy both YSmenu.nds and TTmenu folder
start DS, and load ysmenu.nds
it should work now.
