[FIX] Pokemon Black/White (E) FIX for DSTT/TTDS users (Also works for others)

    Hi.
    I tried this on my dstt and the game works half perfectly: it freezes about every 15-20 minutes.
    What should i do to fix it plz?

    Edit: This happens only with the FR version, the US works perfectly. I tried the patched and unpatched version of Pokemon White. I'm going to try the Black one.

    I don't have a DSTT/TTDS card. But I use YSMenu for clones and get error 4. Will it work?

    -sigh- This is my fifth day attempt to even get one flash cart working for a stupid Pokemon game.

    I just now have got a TTDS from the NDSTT.com site.

    This is what I've got from your topic. Is that correct? I reformat my microsd card[1GB] with the software you had given. Then I first drag in all the files in the YSMENU Update in the freshly format card. Then I overwrite it with the files in this given folder <Picture Below>

    So, I then put the flash cart in my nds and it gives me a dual white screen, it freezes while animating, or it loads to the "Loading screen" and freezes. I can't even load up to the menu. What am I doing wrong.

    Pokemon Black english works perfectly on 6.53 but Pokemon White Errcode =-81 on 6.53. what might be the problem?

    Updated the menu and tried this with clean and patched rom.
    Still getting Error - 4
    Formatted and tried again and still same error.

    i just got a white screen saying, loading game list..

    AAAHHH! someone help me! the formatter deleted everything off my r4i! i put on it the ttmenu, firmware and games(what the readme said) and now it just has a symbol of a sd card! someone please help me!

    If you had formatted before making a backup of the SD card content....then...well...you're in for a bumpy ride. To solve the problem first you'll have to look around for the correct firmware/kernel for your cart, re-install it, and then later add the secondary firmware you want to use, its not the end of the world if you know where to locate that cart's kernel such as by going to the cart's official site as mentioned in the cart's box, or look for it here: http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/. There are lots of R4i around, so make sure you know which one is your's.

    You should always back up before formatting anything (harddrive, SD Card, flash disk, CD, etc.). You can't recover it once you press 'format', even if you can; it might already be fragmented and unuse-able. Good luck.

    it means he needs to take out his flash cart when he turns on the ds set it to not auto boot the game cart when he turns on the ds
    and then he needs to download and put the latest menu onto his flashcart and that symbol looks like a ttds/i symbol

    i actually solved my problem by deleting everything, and adding the folder i stored earlier. Im still sad that i cant play pokemon black/white :(

    I don't know which R4i you're using as there are many versions. If its R4i Gold v.1.41, try Wood for R4i Gold or Wood for R4iDSN. If its the other type of R4i then try YSMENU/TTMENU for R4i SDHC. I don't have an R4i so I can't be of much help. Sorry. But its was a good thing that you had made a backup before doing that formatting. Otherwise you'll be searching for the cart's kernal.

    Off topic:
    Wood for DSTT and Wood for M3 seems to be falling behind in their updates. It might be because YWG locked his source code for the _DS_MENU.DAT to his wood updates.

    i have an r4i sdhc, and ttmenu just gets me a blue screen that never changes, and ysmenu gets me a picture of an sd card at the top.

    They have had there own update for R4iSDHC V1.34B http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/

    Maybe backup format and restart with v1.34B http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp
