[FIX] Fixed Heart Gold (U) (No$)

For anyone using the Acekard 2i (AKAIO): I had the AKAIO updated to 1.6RC1 from the 1.5 release, and the game had no freeze for about a half-hour until I went to sleep...must test it for a longer time today.

Play the game first using any method, and report if you guys able to finish it.
Just remember to save often, I mean save and then quit the emulator.

 

you cant get past the 4th gym, the game freezes totally, this is for the R4. so everyone is going to have to wait for the patch

 

my rom image keeps on crashing, any1 found out how 2 make that stop?

 

Are we going to get a totally cracked/patched/fixed ROM or whatever it is?
Like a ROM we can just download and play almost right out of the file like toher ROMs?

Or will we just find the ultimate "fix" like all these variants?

 

After I did your fixes, my No$Gba kept getting the image crash error. Is there any way to reset the emulator?
The link for the bios and repacked rom is broken, by the way.

 

Delete the No$gba.ini on your no$gba folder.
Just use AR codes to get pass the black screen problem.

 

Also, for those you experiencing freezes, just like Platinum (I think it was that one, right?) sound needs to be enabled if you are using No$GbA. If it's disabled it tends to freeze after every fight.

 

Yeah I'm using only the BIOS and the encrypted rom and it's working nicely. The longest I've played without quitting the emulator was 40 minutes, so I don't know if I'm prone to random game freezing too.

 

By the way what's the difference between a RAW cheat code and a normal one?

 

Use the Soul Silver code on Heart gold, it worked for me

 

i used the original heart gold rom and put the codes for the game and nothing happened...so i put the silver codes and i passed the black screen
with the sound off the grame feezes quickly, but with the sound on i think it don't
and is going well by now...

I just tried the SS AR code on HG, it worked!
I can save, load, it runs at perfect speed and all, but...
There are many visual glitches, like on 3d models you can see some original modelling lines or what ever they are... Those lines as if model was without the skin, but it is playable and goes fine otherwise!

Edit: I've noticed once as I enter a house, the character became a black square, but just going out of the room and entering again fixes that. It happens rarely, though, only once at about 20 minutes of playtime, and now its 54 minutes with no freezes or problems what so ever!
And I forgot to mention, I use the repacked HG I downloaded in this thread. I'm so happy it works! ;D

 

Make sure to use no$zoomer while playing.

ALERT I had to put in the top soul silver replay code to get an effect in heart gold!!!

Well, the game works now, but if I use the Anti-Freeze code, the game won't load at all. For now, I guess I"m stuck with freezing.

 

Its not an "Anti-freeze" code, the code was originally meant to bypass the black screen and ONLY the black screen it doesn't fix the freezing problem at all
