now its imposible to play. nintendo has done a good job with anti piracy . i cant continue the saved game because it crashes when i click continue :-\

Yap, just got my 4th badge right now, stupid crashing... It's a pity, Nintendo has probably won this time...

 

Thanks for this, it works on soul silver too, im currently at golden rod got 3 badges and i havnt frozen yet, a total of 6 hours - i did experience some save problems where it wouldent save past the gym in alexea town but it was fine after a while. Enjoying this game lots, but i dont think it beats the excitement i had playing silver as a kid.

 

No, nintendo is beating us emulator users, but not the flashcart users.

 

maybe the europian roms of HG and SS wont have this strong AP, and i think a solution will be found like for the japanese version of the game

 

I've just downloaded the v2.6 of No$GBA and the 'fixed' HeartGold ROM, and, following all advice posted here, I get to where you're supposed to actually start playing, but it's a black screen. I get absolutely nothing from it.

 

Download the 2.6a version.
and use the SS AR codes on HG rom.

 

I've given up on the English version... Could anyone give me a link to the up to date translated rom of the J version of SoulSilver with the crash patch?

i too have given up on the US version. well looking back, it was also a translation patch of silver that i played on VBA years ago XD

Ive seemed to have got HG to work well on no$gba + zoomer ever since i have switched from just no$gba i haven't had a ROM crash and happily on my way to the 5Th badge. Only problem I'm finding ATM is there seems to be much lag at the pokethlon? where the games fps goes right down to 1 and is very snail like. Not sure how to deal with this issue? any opinions?

 

Increase the game speeds by changing the Emulation Speed to Realtime2*Auto.

How to use:
- Download from the link above
- Extract the files
- Download a HG or SS ROM
- Open No$Gba
- Choose your ROM
