[FIX] Fixed Heart Gold (U) (No$)

I have been using the AR code method since I started playing... You can save after getting the 3rd gym badge but because the action counter is so small, when you do 6 or more events and when you try to save the game abruptly crashes after saving... But I'm probably wrong and I still the bios method to try...

 

lulz the game has a dome game in it and its hella slow

 

You have to use no$zoomer 2.3.0.2 otherwise no$gba will keep on crashing during the bios screen.

 

is this just for no$gba or does it work with zoomer too??

 

now i got 5 badges without using the solution with bios but just using the AR cheats. when u save after the 3d gym the game crashes, but if u close the emulator just a second before crash, u can continue the game that u saved before.

 

I should try that... But that's like playing with fire :-\ ... Distracted for a second and then BAM, your progress is gone...

 

I put all my mind and effort to enjoy this game every minute I play, and playing it from the start makes me hate it dangerously much.
I'll just wish my brain melted so would not want to play anything if I go through a life I've been through once and also the same start as before...

Any way to open and check that SAV file, compare it with other SAVs and fill in/correct a missing/wrong line?

 

Whenever I run the SoulSilver ROM on No$gba, it works perfectly fine until your character shrinks after Oak is done talking.
After that, it just stays black. I can hear music too.
I tried the thing to fix black screens, but that didn't do anything.
Can somebody help?
(This happens with every version of HeartGold and SoulSilver)

 

Use No$GBA 2.6a emulator. open the rom with it than click f2 and open cheats window. cllick on add cheats and put the following:
020DE16C E1A00000
020D3FA8 E1A00000
tick raw and action replay and than OK. Double click on the cheat and than click Ok. Black screen is gone after name selection. u should do this thing every time u open the rom.

 

The save file size for this game should be around 150Kb or more.

@Israel : You need to use both of them.

 

I only have NO$GBA.inp <--- inp in my folder
I have my BIOSNDS7.ROM and BIOSNDS9.ROM in my no$gba folder (not a folder for the bios within the no$gba folder).
Deleted the No$GBA.inp and the Rom doesn't load up...
Where do I find No$GBA.ini?

 

No$Gba.ini will be automatically created after you run no$gba for the first time,
It contain all the configuration for your no$gba.

It should be on no$gba folder,
and its icon looks like a notepad, and check for the extension of the file. (.ini)

 

That's weird, i can only find a ".inp" file but not a ".ini" file...

 

It should still be there as long as you open the emulator for the first time no$gba.ini is a config file that can be edited with notepad the name no$gba.ini is just called no$gba there is only two no$gba files with the same name one is the emulator and the other is no$gba.ini its just the file extension is hidden if your still confuse in the folder go to tools click folder options then click view uncheck hide extensions for known file types and you will see no$gba.INI.

 

yea i've been playing it with both, but those crashes always seem to pop up when i forget to save.. and its a hassle saving it and then exiting and then restarting it so the crashing wont affect it.. i seriously hope playing this game gets easier to do in the future..

Is this update above for the pokemon HG/SS rom crash issue on no$gba after gaining the 3rd badge? if not can someone please help me out with what to do to get the game "playable?" im getting confused with all this no zoomer etc stuff ( not very good at pc stuff here ^^ )

@punga32 : If you wanna play after the 3rd gym, you gotta exit the game the second the save finishes if you wanna progress... But the freezes get worse after you get the 4th badge, It's like the deeper you progress, the tighter the anti-piracy security...

 

I really hope the update works a lot smoother.. because the freezing seriously has been testing my patience... lol
