    i know what your saying tirith but i see my first cousins quite often and well second cousins aren't seen alot cause when its family birtday parties i dont see my second cousins come so i like you wouldnt know if they are related to me

    Couple of sources showing that close inbreeding can lead to an increased risk of genetic conditions:

    Blood Pressure
    Congenital Heart Disease

    Only the synopsis are available, but these have enough information to draw the conclusion that inbreeding, even with first cousins, heightens the risk of hereditary diseases/conditions.

    So, inbreeding is bad. We've actually got that covered with hard proof.

    So, because I'm bored, I'll propose to you this: first cousins allowed to marry, but no having babies with each other. For or against, please explain why.
