    long title... long movie... great classic stuff.

    Wait... might've been Akira. I watched them around the same time.

    Does the original animated Transformers movie count? lol ...poor Optimus Prime.

    I believe my 1st anime would have been the Gun Buster Films. After that it was either Akira or Ninja Scroll.

    Ninja Scroll was freaking awesome, I remember when I first seen it I was thinking it would make an awesome game, don't think it ever happend.

    Movie.. hmm.
    I think it was Tonari no Totoro (1997?), as it was the first anime movie aired on tv in Finland (I think). My mom taped it and it is still my favourite.
    It was only in 2002 or so that I realized what the word "anime" meant thought...

    The first one I watched was Ghost in the Shell when I was 7. Don't remember the story much but I remembered enjoying it.

    OMG!!!! kid's are sopposed to like Disney!!!!

    back when i was a kid, i used to watch them so much my parents run from the living room to avoid smashing the VCR...

    any way, the first one was "lion king". honestly, I'm a little grown up now, and i still watch those movies once in a while, and their still great!!

    the lion king is the only disney film I have left (not counting the two sequels). It's on DVD though, my VHS copy wore out years ago.
