Final Fantasy VII Remake for NDS, Can Square Enix make it?

    Yeah, you've changed your post to nullify my point (barely). Either way, you're excluding the DS or the DSi.

    The DSi doesn't have a GBA slot after all.

    The point is that they have the ability to make a 512mb game for Nintendo DS, so this in turn could shine light on the fact that they could very make larger sized carts, which would be quite expensive to research and create. This would make the whole thing unprofitable. Not only that, but they would have to compress the information.

    The multi-cart idea is a fail from the start, The only way around it would be to use the "carry over your save data feature" from Golden Sun, while it took a while to copy down a password so all the information could be transferred, it is still possible.

    Then again that idea is completely useless. People have PSPs that have the ability to play Final Fantasy VII, Sony holds the right on that game and will not sell it. By the time it DID come to DS, there would be so many people who could play it on their computer via emulator or by PSP, that there would be less that required copies sold to make any profit back from all the hard work put into it.
