Is anyone know how to run it on Ds Linker?

 

are you sure the .dat file is for your firmware format, even it is using same file name, if it is different format inside .. it is useless

same with my cases, already put ARM7 patch it still same ( cannot detect card when save )

for EDGE, i think do not need to change 'config.xml' ... just need to modify 'cheats.dat' <<-- still can't do this
anyone have solved this ??? really want play this game...

Patch the ROM, or get the cheat database for whichever EDGE uses.

 

What's action replay? What's patching? What's a cheat database? How do I get Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles Echoes of Time to work on my R4? What's a n00b? Why do I even bother? where can I find the cheat code to fix ff echo of time. can't find the us comment page. aagh where is it?

 

Look in cheats.gbatemp.net. Use R4CCE or a similar program to modify the file (where you can find the piracy fix cheat code)

 

I made the ARM 7 patch as well no luck
and I have to modify cheats.dat so as to be compatible with te game?

 

there's a rom compatibility list on wikipedia.
look it up, it has the link to the .dat file that should fix your problem

Anti Piracy won't let me save....

Have an R4I-SDHC card. Using the US version I tried the game fix cheet, result was white screen.

Tried 7 different roms including patched ones, all patched resulted in white screen.

Tried

patching myself using DSATM, had to make my own .ini file for that (not

sure i did it correctly). Normal patch i made resulted in white screen,

DSTT? option patch worked in that i could load the game but froze on

black screen after character selection....

Any help is much appreaciated....

 

I am disappointed with nobody having a working file/instructions for EDGE or Acekard2......
I did what I could,ending with the famous white screen......

wow I've been researching, didn't think I'd see as many lazy people as this...

well, I actually have found a FFCC - Echoes of Time that does work on R4 only...

I'm not sure if I'm willing to share since it was so easy to find...

 

Here's what I've done so far to try to get this on my M3 perfect:
1. simply using 4x DMA and Force R/W......obviously failed
2. Safe mode failed
3. Got the file from demonoid mentioned in the comments, used 4x DMA and Force R/W....same problem (can't save)
4. Patched it myself (Arm7, using sim city), used Safe mode, and game couldn't even get started.
5. Same patched file, but 4x DMA Force R/W........couldn't get started.

What else can I do?

 

Did you use the cheat file with the Save/Game Fix code?

 

I never really figured out how to use the cheats for M3 Perfect.

I don't have a System folder, and I don't understand how to put it in to the cartridge....

The only way I've been using AR for these games is exporting their .sav, using an emulator to cheat, then importing the .sav into a .dat and copy pasting back in.

Is that Save/Game Fix code a 1-time use?

 

It should be kept on throughout the entire gameplay.

 

so do I have to turn it on each time, or is it automatic?

 

Should stay on once you enable it and save the settings.
