Yes as I stated on my first post on this thread, competition is something we are born with, it's not some trait we learn, we are born to compete as nature's laws state that the fittest shall remain while the weak will vanish. Greed (human greed) is just a manifestation of the selfish gene that dictates the desire to pass on your traits onto the next lineage.

And I might have been given the wrong information so bear with me, but according to my Political Science & Philosophy Professors, the concept of "communism" is actually non existent, they say that the basis & fundamental structure of Communism was structured after & in fact maybe a radical form of Socialism, though in practice Communism may be the more recognized term.

i think kamage maybe referring to a controlled environment.

hitler after world war 1 moved the german country from a run down nation to a top of the list country using a totalitarian system. though a totalitarian system isn't like communism, but the idea that everyone was working together to push the nation forward worked.

china and india, china has become very industrialized.
east germany was agricultural and became industrial

a system never works because it's not the system that doesn't work it's the person behind it.
a computer doesn't work because the engineer designed it with flaws.

Yeah sure, Hitler "improved" Germany, but don't forget the Holocaust where Millions were killed. Does that justify the end?

The weak will vanish, as some or most of people that live in slums or are in poverty, eat other people, or do things in their nature that they wouldn't normally do, to survive at all costs. It's horrifying.

In the recent years, the number of the impoverished scavenging for left over food thrown in garbage bins & those who buy tainted meat because it's cheaper is steadily rising here. And in a more gruesome turn of events, some of them have even started turning to more disgusting things to fill their bellies, like sewer rat meat (field mice meat though is edible & safe), cockroach meat, & grubs, Blech!.

Those who are still "a little" sane, have opted to sell their kidneys in exchange for some money to tide them over even if they're risking their own health.

The weak don't vanish, they hang on until they can't handle it, so "Survival of the Fittest" isn't true in all points.

    Grubs are rich in protien....

You can't sell your kidneys in the Philippines anymore, it's been banned for like four months already. A law has been passed making it illegal to sell kidneys now...

religious scapegoating wasn't a new thing that hitler made. it existed way before his time.

eating worms and insects and such has always been around, so it isn't a new concept.

china is an example of what some of the things are going on, eating dogs and cats, bats, rats, armadillos, etc....

btw, you do still find people selling old produces [not meat but typically vegetables, bread and fruits] in super markets.

the problem with survival of the fittest is that no one should be involved in helping them as you would be interfering in their survival. however, there is a problem as it is a system that is controlled. america is on top, so if the americans don't do business with you then you lose, but if they do business with you then you live. your survival is based on someone else.

Pssh, laws. Are you sure that those laws have stopped the kidney trade? Yeah maybe in those areas infamous for the trade like the Baseco Compound or in Surigao, but go to far off remote impoverished areas & you'll see that the trade's still active, it just went underground to cool things off. And even in Tondo, the trade still continues, everyone's just hush hush on the situation.

Go ahead, tell that to the families of the victims of the Holocaust. No amount of justification will ever take away the scars that Hitler left for the families of the victims.

And for your information, America only helps those in need just to make itself look good for the media but the truth is more than half the world hates America. Also, the pseudo aid America gives the less fortunate countries has always had vested interests. Why help a crappy nation & lose capital for no reason? The answer, resources.

And thank you very much, but as an example we (The Philippines) never did need "fake" help from other nations, we have always never did, it's just that we're such a weak country that more powerful countries, Spain, America, Japan, China & America keeps on stepping on us & looking down upon us & thinking we're worthless. :p

I wish America and others would do more for poor countries in need.

The Red Cross... I can never hear it being mentioned here.....Only in the US it was mentioned...

Anyhoos, America does stick its head into alot of poor countries, but not for helping...

And the UN is more sought on helping people around the world, what I don't understand is why some of the countries aren't part of the UN?

or why some countries are part of the UN, but think they can ignore the UN when they feel like it. i.e america.

    how?!

by money, then the country becomes dependent.

by reforming the nations political system, then they develop enemies.

by influence, then you're imposing your influence on them.

get the trend? when a country does try to help, there will be something there that will bite them in the ass.

Kamage is right, we do have a chapter of Red Cross here, but they do little..

The most active foundations here are the ones run by the two biggest Television networks.

And they still do next to squat.

Bantay Bata, I always see it on TV, and always in stores, but when I shake the can, I can hear what? 8 coins? 1 pisos I'm betting. Alot of people don't do their part to help... Which is why Communist Governemt fits alot of countries :D
