FFVIII Re-released!?

No i didnt buy it. I dont plan to play it any time soon. I'll wait for an HD remake, in a few years maybe.

 

Had to buy this for my girlfriend on steam.
too much addiction for square enix, might try it myself too anyways then.

 

I wouldn't buy it just yet.
I don't want to give Square $12 for a possibly half-assed PC port for a game that came out in 1999.
I'll wait until I see some gameplay videos. Plus a Winter Steam Sale is probably coming up, so yeah.
I have the original PC version of the game. If im getting a ff viii again it will be the HD remake.

 

I have the original PC game too but it's a pain in the arse to get working on my PC and laptop. I'm tempted to get it.

I wonder if there's a mod that replaces the midi music with the music from the PSX version.

 

There was one for the original PC version. I believe they stepped it up even further and used orchestrated music, not midi.

PC died so I don't have the files anymore, but it was nice when I had it.

 

Whats wrong with The HD remix versions? So why would you want hq kh on steam?
