FF VII remake on DS?

    RTS is possible, but reduced graphics might be required depending on the game.

    for starcraft they were able to get it on the n64 cartage... but the cut scenes were reduced to scripts... now we can actually have movie clips with the game... and graphics from the 90's don't need to suffer (KH 358/2 days graphics looked like tomb raider 2)

    There was a homebrew Starcraft DS project named Starlite that, I believe, used sprites ripped from the original game, but Blizzard sent the team a C&D before it got very far.

    The only other DS RTS games I'm aware of are Command and Destroy and A Touch of War, which is a homebrew. Both are rather sucky and go to show that the PC remains the king of RTS.

    In the end, whether or not any given game could possibly come to x system is never really a matter of technical feasibility. As I said in the OoT thread, it's technically possible but not necessarily desirable.

    The FFVII (just to answer the question near the top) that was released on the PS3 is not a remake... it is part of the Play Station Classics collection (in other words.. its the original game.. just downloadable)

    Why do you HOPE it wont be on DS? I hope it is not because you just want to be mean to DS users :) I mean,what's it to you if it comes to DS or not ? If it comes, well ...it is on 1 system more to play it on.For me (DSi owner) it makes quite a difference.For other console users,it doesnt.
    It's not like i want FF VII remaked ONLY on the DS ...it's stupid.I think the topic is ,if the game will be/could be ever made on the DS system TOO.

    I know alot of people who just dont want DS users to have certain games because of whatever... its retarded. Oh,im not saying you are the one,but it brings out memories when some folks were pissed of FF IV coming to DS ("it should be made only for PSP/SNES !" or whatever)...yeah,im dead serious about that
