FF crystal chronicals freeze

i have an old emulator which of the two new versions should i download?

 

The newest?

 

its the same version but two types,one says O/S: Windows x64 and the other says O/S: Win32 which one do i get?

If your computer says ''WIN32'' it is 32-bit, if ''WIN64'' (Don't know if true) 64-bit.

 

Ok i'm using the win 32 and well firstly every time i open it i have to re-extract but i can open it by using winRAR but when i try to play the game its says it can't use opengl renderer.

 

Your graphics card must not support OpenGL. Or it does and you don't have the latest drivers.

Well, since we are repeating ourselves, then:

Your graphics card must not support OpenGL. Or it does and you don't have the latest drivers.

What are your computer specs?

RAM, Video Card, Processor, etc.

 

well only got it at christmas its got 4gig ram windows 7 you know

 

Is it a laptop? If so it probably has built in intel graphics chips. Which unfortunately are not very good and not upgradable.

Go to Options -> Configure
Choose the Plugins tab.
For Graphics it is probably on Dolphin OpenGL. Since your video card doesn't support OpenGL you will have to change to Dolphin Direct3D9. (or which ever Direct3D driver your emulator has with it).

what do i do about extracting as ive said before twice

 

Right click the file, choose "Extract here" and the file will be extracted.

 

ok after i pick new game it goes blank what should i do,yes its a laptop

 

It might not be compatible:

It lists it as "Will start menu but crashes when you start new game".
Guess it won't work.

 

that sucks, is there another emulator that will run it? because thats exactly whats happening on mine.

 

I think Dolphin is the best emulator available.

 

Try the Projection Hack option.
