Oh right, like you have a life?
I did not like your reply as it was rather rude.

yes i do... every day i come home from school do my home work like everyone else who's 17 and hasn't dropped out. i finish up and hang around you guys... on saturdays i work at the four seasons as a waiter. that answer your question...

... video chat is awesome if you met the chick in person... but i firmly believe relationships should be up close and personal, where they actually blossom

    Oh, that's a right life..
And with physical relationships the main benefits are really just lust
I see from there where you said video chat; sounds like you want more lust there

yes... like most men do, c'mon like you never wanted to get into some chick's pants (metephorically, not physically) we are still primates you know.

Oh back when I was like 14..
It's pretty immature just to be after sex and lust

i dont think being after sex is immature its just kinda bad online relationships are ok they can be very emotional but i prefer real ones not because i want to run to a girls home just to bang her its just nice the be close to the one you care about.

The subject matter of this topic just took a nosedive. As far as sex goes, it's a normal part of life. There's no point in being ashamed over it or trying to suppress it. It's all about knowing how to control your impulses and behaviors. For BOTH sexes. Men and women both deal with sexual tension. The girls just hide it better. :p

Regarding lust, I don't think a single soul said anything about liking women just for their body, so it'd be best to drop it. In case you didn't notice, Emma hasn't posted since that BS started up. Maybe we should use a little of that "social awareness" that was cited earlier in the topic and think about the ladies that might look through the topic. I don't endorse sexual favoritism; this topic is just turning asinine and immature.

    </rant>

Someone brought up a great point; I also think that if I were to get with a gamer girl, she'd need to be dedicated instead of the type who does it just for the attention or because "it's the cool thing to do". Games are becoming more mainstream and trendy, unfortunately, and it'll hit girls just as hard, if not harder, than other demographics as a result.

With all of this discussion of what we would expect of a gf who games, what would the gamer girls expect of their gamer boys? I'm interested in learning the differences in approach between the sexes with gaming.

^ Yeah I didn't really feel like I had anything to say, but I must also note that I'm not always ignoring stuff because due to my computer being a pain in the ass and is having some serious internet problems(I need to reformat it, badly) and my sister is usually on the other computer I generally don't have much of a chance to go on the internet multiple times of the day and I can only check RomU about once a day.

Back on topic: I really hate it when I see other girls going on about how they sat on their playstation or some crap for 2 hours and think they have broke some kind of world record, Then they consider themselves gamers. and in reality that's the type of session we'd consider daily play.

So yeah, 2 hours lol, well 1 hour is like a minimum of playing a game, 2 to 3 is the average in a day

lol xelados's rant completely owned me because no one saw what i wrote above it i almost disappeared into thin air but yeah hes right and raises a good question what do girls think of gamer guys?

Heh, sorry if I came off as overwhelming or an ass.

I feel the same way about guys who do that too, Emma. In most circles, they're called poseurs, and every hobbyist group has to contend with'em. Gamers deal with it by calling them 'casuals', if you ask me.

I'd rather be called a newbie or noob than a casual. Srs. :X

lol and dw you didn't look like an ass mate you made them shut up xD and you have a point im not a hardcore game because i dont game often and the only game i ever played all night was wow (thank fuck i quit) and that was only because i was waiting for my gf on there (witch is my experience with mega long distance) anyway the point is i dont play that often what makes me a gamer is my love for games thats why a hardcore gamer wouldn't make a good gf for me nuff said

Anyway, back on-topic, I think of gamer guys as really nice people because they generally are. I've never had a gamer guy say anything mean before and they'll always help you with whatever trouble you have.
