same here! and i hate that

 

that's kind of cool, here in the states they make a big stink about it. Although rarely any action is taken and a lot of people do it in New York City, but they still continue to remind it's bad and what not.

hate what? people selling you pirated media in general or them not telling you it's pirated when they sell it

 

yeah, they check the cd's in the airport if its pirated or not. To make sure, you need to give a O.R. from branded stores here. Tried that and they confiscated the cd's... good thing they been bought cheap.

 

The benefit is i don't have to buy the original dvd/hd if the movie is not my favourite but i want to watch that movie and i don't have to d/l it at torrent cause the file is to big.

 

so what if you make your own cd and try to bring it on a place...they have no way of knowing you bought the songs online and made a CD out of it.

The story start in a subway train with SAYA and one old passenger, after a while SAYA chasing the old man and killed him without knowin he is an ONI or not, after that her handler MICHAEL was waiting at the end of the station and his partner LUKE who claim that SAYA begin out of control for killing the old man not an oni. After a while MICHAEL gave SAYA a mission to go undercover at a military air base in TOKYO under a command by GENERAL MCKEE, SAYA has to pose as a transfer student from Japan Embassy,later on Saya involve WITH 2 student (ONI) girls who had a fight with ALICE MCKEE the General daughter ... (Spoiler)

After watch this movie i remember another movie adapted from a comic book "Blade", not to much different, blade born from a mother who got bitten by a vampire and Saya born from a mother who was a Vampire Lord and her father was a prince of Shogunate, the story is far different from the animation and the effect is not to perfect with slow-mo effect and blood splatter, the cast was not a superstar i think because of the budget limited. The ending is rather dissapointed with a short boss battle (too easy i thing) or maybe there going to be another sequel or prequel, just wait and see. The writer to exec producer is japanese and the director is Chris Nahon. So for the score is:

Didn't have to wait for a long d/l and is cheap. That a reason for me to buy pirated movie. ;D

 

yup, same here. sometimes i get the pirated cd's for free cause some of students do that for extra allowance and they sometimes give me those they cant sell.

 

yup, i think it just the same, buy a pirate thing or download it.

 

a full 4 gb movie takes about 45 minutes tops to download for me...that's probably how long it would take me to go to the store and buy the movie (i can't buy pirated here).

I usually start downloading maybe 7 movies when i go to bed and they are all done when i wake up.

 

Went to bed at 2, woke up at 1, found that 4 of my games are done.
I usually download the dvdrips since there is almost no point to downloading the actual full DVD.

 

I use to get the dvdrips, but i watch all of my movies on LCD tv's no smaller than 42"...usually on a 55" TV so the AVI files always showed their lack in quality...and I get bothered with bad quality for some reason. The full DVD-R downloads fixed that.

I also get movies in netflix that i can't find on the internet and copy those myself (what a terribly long process)
