Harry Potter 6 was a bit of a let down. it was boring up until the end. but what i dont understand with HP6 is when Harry and Ginny are about to kiss then Ginny randomly ties Harry's shoelace.

SWAT is the greatest movie ever: it has a perfect mix of action, comedy and a killer storyline

I thought GI Joe was surprisingly good...i only went to see it because i enjoyed Sommers other movies (the mummy trilogy and van helsing) and thought I'd give it a try. It was a pleasant surprise to see Brendan Frasier had a small role in it, as well as Arnold Vosloo

I really like Japanese horror films. They are a cut above any of the American horror counterparts. If anyone here has seen one, they know what I mean. The gore & overall disturbing nature of these films can turn anyone's stomach. My favorite is 'Rampo Noir.' Rampo is considered the Japanese equivalent to Edgar Allen Poe in Japan, and the movie cover four of his most famous short stories. Its good stuff.

Agreed but my favorite goes to Ju-On and One Missed Call.

'One missed call' is an American movie directed in the Japanese horror fashion. I never saw it myself, but Shannyn Sossamon is super hot. ;)

Nope, that is a hollywood version. But the original is from Japan.

One missed call (the USA version) was terrible in my opinion. Ju-On i heard was good but the hollywood remake, shutter (i believe), was also crap. Hollywood needs to stop remaking foreign horrors and find a decent crew to make a good horror film. 99% of horror movies that are coming out today have no name actors in it, with little or no talent who only got the role because they're willing to take their top off. I think we could pull off good horror films if good actors, producers and directors were attached to the projects.

Sadly though, for now we have to deal with those hot topless girls =p

A remake for Ju-On in Hollywood is "The Grudge" and for shutter the original is from thailand movie and in a remake to hollywood the title remain the same. Up till now Ju-On had been release to fourth sequel, the last one is Ju-On Kuroi Sojo and Ju-On Shiroi rojo (2009). Kinda agree with musiclegend, almost every hollywood horror movie gotta be a topless chicks, it's a trademark i think.

sorry, the grudge....Shutter is a remake of a foreign horror as well, I got confused.
