it can't make downloads faster than your connection is capable of, and if you're downloading multiple files at once then the total speed will not be greater than what your line is capable of.

Do not abbreviate the word because into "coz". This is considered internet shorthand, and is prohibited in this forum by the [rules].

I'd have to say video download helper (although with Firefox 2, the Realplayer plugin works just as well), Adblock Plus, the AVG plugin, Splash Screen, and AgingTabs. I like the splash plugin because you can use your own picture and text in it, and AgingTabs because it's just plain cool, as long as you aren't using a different theme. I also like the firefox Aqua theme, because I really like Macs.

Got some new addons for the new Firefox 3 yesterday.
    I particularly like;

Chatzilla (barely anything has changed, except the buttons etc. for logged on users, which look professional)

Extended Statusbar (which tells me how images etc. I've loaded, how many KBs I've loaded, how long it took etc.)

    Flashgot (self explanatory)

Ctrl-tab (can switch window tabs easier)

Flashblock (blocks flash, can play them or enable them if necessary)

    Adblock Plus (awesome)

and also Tab Scope (brings you a little preview of the highlighted or mouse hovered tab, small image anyway). I'm going to look there every week, as more and more interesting addons are surfacing)

I like Fast Dial, which is an add-on that mimics Opera's speed dial, which was the major reason why I liked & used Opera for some time, til that lame ass Opera 9.50 update was released, it was damn buggy :p

    I got some more.

URL Fixer, Scribefire, Downloadhelper, Locationbar, and Autofill Forms.

That is not an add on, and it was already included in FF2. Pretty handy, I must say.

The add on that impresses me the most is PicLens. Gosh, it looks so great, and is extremely efficient! You can see videos, images or read articles with it.

One thing I like in FF3 is it tells you which are the recommended add ons. Told me about some add ons.

I also started using FlashBlock. It blocks every flash animation existing on the website, but lets you play them if you want.

Ah, my bad. I also have flashblock, it's quite good, blocks all flash, and you have to confirm if you want to play them, and then you can accept flash from the samesite you want for good. A really nice one that is. Getting used to Locationbar, just gotta tweak some settings to make it so whenever I doubleclick a directory point of a URL, it will direct me to it, like when I log out of the forums, and it goes to the random results thing, https://www.romulation.org/statasasfasfeexample, then just click the romulation.net part.

noscript does the same thing as flashblock.

at least for me it does.

Yeah, that one has helped me out with my English, too. But it's included in FF since I got the first version of it.

Yeah, I got that one too. Pretty amazing, ain't it?

I also use Tiny Menu a lot. I usually have loads of shortcuts in the Navigation toolbar, and this add on puts the File, View, Edit etc. menus in only one, small one... called Menu. :p

NoScript blocks images, flashblock blocks flash files, like RomU's flash banner. I think...

half right, flashblock blocks flash like you said, noscript blocks javascript, silverlight etc.

  18. jc_106

Or that. Then AdBlock blocks whatever you want (or almost).

Yeah, Flashblock does block the RomUlation banner, it makes the banner square and huge, then once you want to play it, it goes back to the original size.
