Anime themes lack variety. What we need is more songs like Baccano's op. Spice and Wolf and Bakemonogatari have pretty good themes though.

Well, my favourite anime theme song is Tactics by The Yellow Monkey which is in first ending of Rurouni Kenshin. I also like Daybreak's Bell which is from Gundam 00.
