hmm, more replies than I thought. To those of you who have a lot of problems with glitches, you may want to try these things:

    1. Save often. I usually save before and after every quest I do. This way, if the quest itself is bugged (rare, but a few are) I can revert and skip. for the long quests I save midway through in a seperate file

    2. If you run into a bug, do the following (in this order)
first, re-load your last save, this will usually fix the problem, though a few glitches (like the "computer screen when you scope in with a scoped weapon") can be a bit trickier
If that doesn't work, reset your cache (If on 360 or PC) or just cycle power (PS3) I'm personally on the PS3 but from what I understand, just hold A as it loads to reset your cache.
If that still doesn't work, exit the game (cycle power) and delete your game data. (NOT SAVE DATA) When you restart the game it will re-install the data, which usually fixes anything the previous 2 did not.

For those of you who run into an abnormal amount of glitches, try this:
pause the game, go to options, then gameplay. Turn off all of the "save on..." options (you could likely leave the "wait" one on, but do not leave "travel" on.) this effectively disables autosave, which is the perpetrator of about 60% or so of the bugs. I turned it off after it glitched my level 23 character (see Original Post) and I had to revert to a save 2 levels back. Also, if a certain person you need for a quest isn't appearing, try the tips above, then just try waiting for about 6 hours or so, that fixed a few of them for me.

On another note, If you lose certain people, followers of yours, or other certain NPC's who are essential to the story, try this:

go to vault 22, located in the NW section of the map, near Jacobstown, repair the elevator (50+ Repair) and ride it to the food storage room. This elevator has a companion check built in to it, which automatically teleports your allies to you, regardless of where they were (I.E. You told them to wait in the middle of nowhere or something, they fell through a floor, which boone is bad for, they got trapped in a water area, which Ed-E is bad for). This also made General Hsu re-appear in his proper place on a save of mine. I had just killed motor runner and was going back to get the reward and he wasn't there, he had actually floated through the celing, i could just barely see his feet. The vault 22 elevator fixed it for me, don't know why, but it did.

Hope that helps those of you running into glitches. For the most part, My glitches have been funny or strange, not game breaking. Dogs walking backward, people moving without walking animations. I've had a few freezes, but since I save often, it didn't bother me too much. All in all, a solid game, and even if it is a bit of an expansion, it's still rather good, and I'd buy it again if I had to do it over.

The "save often" rule usually applies for most Bethesda games.

50hours clocked, runs smoothly, no major game breaking bugs, a small amount of actuall bugs encountered.
    Love it.
