Yeah, that's why I abhor mobile phones. I'm probably one of the few people who do not have nor does not want to ever own a mobile phone.
CRAP I SHOULD TOTALLY GET ON FACEBOOK NOW! Dating sites are awesome. They tell you where your matches live.
anytime you post something on the internet with your name or info on it you're putting yourself in the position to be stalked.. i thought that was just common sense... the one thing i like about america is we have a thing called "restraining orders" and they work against stalkers... id say it was your fault if you got a stalker from facebook since you know * you added her as a friend
Restraining orders won't work on the internet. It'll be almost the same as trying to revoke the Gravity Law.
i know that i meant that if he/she was being stalked by this person in real life as well as on the net.. and im almost sure that internet stalkers or "cyber stalkers" can be taken to court for harassment its just unlikely because its hard to identify who the person is i found some interesting info for you and others about cyberstalking and laws http://www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs14-stk.htm http://www.ncsl.org/IssuesResearch/TelecommunicationsInformationTechnology/CyberstalkingLaws/tabid/13495/Default.aspx
yea i know but i dont care about the cyber law policies in countries i'll never go to haha and that was a reply to the "restraining orders dont apply to the internet" post
No country is the center of any universe. If you don't know how legislature work in other countries....Sheesh! XD
i know that what i said my have been taken to the extreme ;but for other than personal knowledge i dont see why i need to learn the policies of countries ill never go too like Russia, ive got nothing against any Russian or what have you but i doubt learning their policies would benefit me personally since i dont have any plans of being in/around the country in my lifetime... and its not that i think nobody should learn them haha just not me personally and if america was the center of the universe we'd all be in trouble
Think about it: -How you can discuss culture and other specific country issues posted by other person that doesn't live on the same country as yours if you don't know such details? It would be the same as discussing a recipe you have no idea how is made or the ingredients that are used. Since I'm american also(since "American" it's not a nacionality, only a word to denote people that live on the American continent), we'd all be in trouble!
Most people... well.. all of them that live in a different country than me, that i talk to are in video games or forums and they usually explain why their policies suck to them and i just find a way to relate to how they feel.. i dont really talk politics or laws since i usually break more laws than i know, and i don't really get into discussing that type of thing too often but occasionally i do. To me it just seems like a matter of personal interest in my case to where if i was president or something it would be of the up-most importance in my opinion to have common knowledge of these things.
