    *Sigh*

What are you hoping to gain from this?

i'm not hoping to gain anything, merely providing a view that prostitution is not inherently wrong. Why must my motives include some sort of self-gain?

They don't have to, that's why I asked. I just wanted to know why you were posting here to be honest. All these threads do is make me laugh. :)

The reason I post here is because I enjoy a good debate, the exchange of views, gathering a person's views tells you more about a person than any other means.

If what you are saying is true, does that mean when I go to the bank to pay in money,I can shag the teller as shes a Prostitute.
I say this because you are calling her a Prostitute for working, and I hand over cash to her.Its not my fault she deposits the cash into my bank account.

I wonder if I should try it out on Monday, especially if she is a big-titted Milf......

Who are you directing this post to?

Im directing it at the original poster,as I cannot see how he comes to his conclusions.

As far as I was aware,a Prostitute performs sexual acts for money-so a woman that works and doesnt performs sexual acts in her duties cannot be a Prostitute.

Ah, that's true in the lawful sense of the word. But someone who sells out their ideals for money can also be called a prostitute linguistically. I think calvin might've not gotten his point across the way he meant, I don't think English is his first language.

He could maybe test out his theory....

The next time hes in a bar,he could approach a couple and ask the woman if shes a prostitute. If that doesnt get a reaction,he could ask the bloke if he's a Rent-Boy

so far only Bloodlust_NS understand what i'm trying to say, all the other take the word prostitute too literally to understand what i'm trying to say.

o.k let me put it this way....

what do prostitute offer for money? sex

where do sex come from? thier body

what do people offer for money? thier skill and talent.

where do thier skill and talent comes from? their body.

so in a sense, everyone who been using thier skill and talent to earn a living is pretty much doing what a prostitute been doing for a living, selling them self.

i'm not saying that everyone is offering sex for money.

arent they? a famous star is widely know worldwide which pretty much make them seems like they are in the sky.... thats why they are call commonly a star.

We understand what you're trying to say, but your logic is atrocious.
Prostitution refers solely to sexual activity for money and not just any personal service. Thus, as Hypr has said, you have a fallacy of definition. To be more specific (ironically), your definition is too broad.

Aside from being a fallacy of definition, you're also guilty of drawing an affirmative conclusion from negative premises.

I'm sure you're responsible for any number of additional logical fallacies, but I neither have the time nor formal expertise to confirm this.

prostitutes = skill from body = everybody else.

Barrack Obama = skill from body = everybody else.

Either the president of America is a whore, or I am the president of America.

It's a close call, but I'm leaning toward the former. After all, he's a democrat (har har har).

Disclaimer: I am not American and have no detailed knowledge and thus opinion on the sociopolitical viewpoints or extraofficial proclivities of President Obama and the party he represents.

    ^ Hahaha!

Some words have to be specific. Tehuber said what I wanted to say, but couldn't get the words out right. And nex provided an excellent example.
