the ASPI plugin requires you to download and install the ASPI driver from adaptec. It is the only plugin that will work on windows 98/ME/NT4

thats why i'm asking you how d you load the rom.... :(
i personally, always mount the rom to daemon tools then run-cdrom...
with the cd rom plugin set to my daemon virtual drive.....
i cleared persona innocent sin from RomU,with epsxe1.7,adding the english patch, and found no problem!
i use pete OpenGL 2 video plugin, eternal sound plugin and the epsxe cdrom plugin...
config the plugin settings to nice for default....and load the iso!

    https://www.romulation.org/PSX/Persona_-_Revelations_%5BU%5D_%5BNTSC-U%5D_%5BSLUS-00339%5D.rar.html/

Booted it up using ePSXe 1.5.2
    Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9
    Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41
    ePSXe CDR WNT/W2k core 1.5.2

    These are my graphics settings:

im deeply sorry, but its still not working

mayabe its cause i have vista

or mayabe its cause daemons tools is being a bitch

Why are you using Daemon tools? You can run just the ISO without mounting it.

Vista shouldn't really cause the problems.

i cant use daemons tools, but i was advised that itll help with my problem

but when i try to open it, it says it needs permission from a local admin to use it

Right click on the Daemon Tools shortcut and click "Run as Administrator".

alright, now im getting a new problem

im using tools and hitting run cd and it just shuts itself down

    man thats confusing....heheh
daemon tools is just for mounting img that not supported by the emu...
so you can use the run cdrom command with it....
image with iso extension is compatible with epsxe...so it should normally can be loaded straight!
    plus...the image is 100% working....i played it ;)
so....if the problem is not with the epsxe itself (try a new fresh copy of it)...
    then maybe its your system.....
