yes they work, to a point.
in my experience a caffeine drink can keep you awake/alert for a short time, quite handy for long driving.
ive never had any shakes or a 'crash' after it though

If you drink a hundred cups of coffee, you'll move at an ungodly speed. I know, because I saw this on Futurama.

Those that have a crappy computer shoulda give it to the processor and the VGA hahahahaha and then they might be ableto play Crysis with all high up at more than 6.0frame per second hahaha

But school gives you the required intelligence to understand futurama.

ive tried tons of them a long time ago and honestly only 2 have ever actually made me feel "more energetic"

the tiny cans of Stacker2 stingers (all of them taste like crap but it does give a boost)

and the Rockstar roasted mocha coffee energy drink (it'll make ya take the dookie that the dookie wanna take not the dookie that you wanna take)

this was while i worked at big lots part-time and we got thousands of different ones in all the time

honestly if you eat breakfast it seems to work better than most energy drinks i dont recommend them to anyone under 21 just b/c you should have enough energy anyways.. i drink a 2 liter of mt dew every other day though.....my buddy drinks a 2 liter a day haha...

energy drinks will bring you down hardcore if you try to depend on them weeks on end

shouldnt be given to any child but im not saying id vote to make that a law or anything

Think of it this way, why do you think at LAN parties that they sell energy drinks?

    1. to make money haha dumb answer but seriously
    2. just adding "energy drink" to the name usually doubles the asking price of a normal soda/pop which leads back to .1

im not saying that the energy drink makers are corrupt but, energy drinks target people who have a problem everyone seems to have.. no or low energy.. its a smart move like bottled water! or adding "diet" to a products name...

    3. you're not gonna look as cool holding a caffeine-free diet pepsi :D
    4. they really do work for some people
    5. why not?
    6. kool-aid is easy to spill ;)

Well, they don't work for me. Sometimes even caffeine doesn't work for me. But try this thing:

When you wake up, before you do anything else, just drink a glass of fresh water. That works for me better for me than any manufactured solution.

Most likely they've stopped puttin' the real stuff in them' cans and add instead a flavour-mimic chemical, that fools our tastes to beleave it's coffeine and stuff.

It doesn't really work for me anymore. I don't feel hyper or anything. I just can't sleep for a few hours (even when I'm tired).
Only a energy shot worked once.
I just like the taste of some drinks.

I can't sleep for a couple of hours naturally.

  19. i've drank a ton different ones and the only one that actually worked was that one called cokaïne which has 4 times the legal ammount of cafiene in it
