hey, I need a little help. I downloaded AdrilPSX ILE, whick seems to boot up just fine, but I downloaded games like FInal Fantasy and Legend of Legaia, and they won't run. they say EMULATION ERROR: Unsupported MIPS CPU instruction. Any ideas? The Legend of Legaia game I downloeded was from romulation, and was a .rar file, so I tried it without unzipping, and it didn't work, so then I tried unzipping, and it stopped showing the game on the emulator. I tried Final Fantasy VII, which was at first named as a .Z7 file, and wouldn't show up on the emulator. so I renamed it as a .ISO file, and it appeared, but wouldn't run. so I used Win Rar on it, and it still registered, but still wouldn't run. any ideas? is it the emulator, or the games? what procedures could you suggest? (By the way, as technologically apt as I might or might not sound, when I meet new software, I'm an idiot. Specifics if it's possible?) Thank you very much

Z7, RAR, 7ZIP, ZIP etc. are all compressed files, you need to decompress them using a program like winrar, not just rename to ISO.

Why are you using AdrilPSX ILE? Instead use ePSXe. There is a tutorial and plugin pack link in my signature. It is the most compatible PSX Emulator.

Make sure you have no$gba 2.6a, check in Help>About. And just change your Emulation Speed accordingly, Unlimited MHZ Disaster etc.

It's the emulator. You probably aren't using the latest version. Check out the common issues thread like Anandjones suggested.

You need a Slot 2 flashcart. Changing the extension won't work.
