I get frustrated at games sometimes but not as much as when the boyfriend does something on his 2nd attempt that I've been trying for hours. Heh.

And I got upset when I saved over my 80 hour save on Disgaea by accident. :(

My brother gets really angry though. Hasn't thrown chairs yet but it's just a matter of time.

I've, thankfully, a lack of siblings, but I do have a number of lesser step-cousins who are quite hilarious to watch and to leave in their natural habitat. The most surprising thing is that it's actually the oldest of these children, ten, I believe (paying attention to your step-family is so very difficult), has the worst anger issues I've seen. He was playing some piss-poor World of Warcraft ripoff which I would come to know was entitled "Disney's Toon Town" and was commanded to rid himself from the online world. "Yessir", "Good boy", "I wuv you", "Shut up, I'm drinking", "Don't beat me, Daddy", and so on. Everything seemed fine. I could even stomach the child asking for a portal from someone that was clearly both a child molester and not a mage.

Ten minutes and four collected drops for a quest (excuse me, "Toon Task") later, the father of the child noticed that he was indeed a cheeky little bastard. So the father, in his infinite wisdom of all things video game, used the end of the world spell (also known as Ctrl+Alt+Delete). I've never seen anyone get so pissed off in my life. And this was a ten year old - shouldn't he be at least somewhat mature?

He was yelling, he was screaming (which I'm informed are two different things), he was throwing things and knocking down things from the counter (while me and several guests could only watch and sell tickets at inflated prices)... this was a full fledged tantrum. Over a game. That he didn't even own...

... yeah, I'm not immune to getting mad when my save file gets corrupted or misplaced, but, come on - it's a video game, man.

    Seriously.

Some people have issues, that's how they were born.
My issue is that I rage when a game crashes on my computer.

Playing a game, I got far and it crashes while saving.
So I rage and install the game.
Put it back inside it's box. And throw it away.

But it's not that bad if I lose or something. I got used to that lol.

I don't normally lose my save games that i've spent hours upon hours on so i've never felt this over-the-top rage.
However, I recently lost quite a lot of coursework for German, the one subject i'm not currently getting a lazy A in, and lost one of the major parts of my trial exam.

I also suffer from the horrific bouts of "a sibling in the room when i lose" problem. My sister has been blamed so many reasons for me failing at Guitar Hero or something such that. I remember i did get a teency bit irritated when I lost my originial Pokemon Platinum save where i was like 5 minutes training away from beating the champion. However that situation more filled me with dredd and sympathy as my friend who is both a pokemon gamer and a boxer inexplicably traded me two lvl 100 starter pokemon for some of my nooby pokemon that he could actually use in battles (his new Platinum save, the lvl 100s were from his Pearl) temporarily. He still doesn't know, and never will...

Guitar Hero one of the few games I can get annoyed at, I remeber I had almost 100%'d Dragonforce on medium and i missed the 3rd last note, cue guitar flying into a wall.

    Epic win; take that guitar!

Well anyways; what I hate is when a glitcher kills me like the floating glitch in CoD 5, I stalked one guy and I kept killing him, nobody else and I reported him for the glitching with screenshots and stuff, needless to say the glitch is gone and he's banned.

i was tempted to smash the window with something earlier, cause of Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier
for those who played it, you know the enemies can FORCE DODGE. i was on one of the harder bosses, beat them down to 1 grunt remaining, then it was like endless force dodging that made it so that when it should have taken me 2 turns at most to kill him it too me about 20 turns -.-"

Well, he shouldn't have totally freaked, BUT.. That IS still something he put a lot of effort into. It's like if you put 30 hours into a complicated papercraft or something and you were almost done with some DAMN hard piece and accidentally step on it, you'd be PISSED. It's not that it was a game, it's that it was a lot of effort.

Yeah. That's why i've only ever played Freebird on GH2 twice, once when i had to for the career and another when me and a friend were reminiscing competitively

please don't tell me you actually did that. the longest i've spent on one was merely 2 hours and i would like MAUL whoever breaks it. or at least blow off some steam whacking something with a pillow

something else that might piss off people could be the LOW drop rates of certain items in MMORPGs, especially in the likes of WoW where the whole party has to roll for loot which lessens your chances of getting it that much more.

He gets very angry when anything is done to annoy him. Includes losing a game, if he can't find a shirt etc.

    My advice:
Don't buy him a point and click game...

    What about manager game then?

Eh, I wouldn't be sure about Tycoon games (i presume you mean that over Football manager games). I imagine if he was told that his company had gone bust because he'd wasted his money on random shit that would make no effect on his business's profit margins, then he'd go crazy and try and sue his competition (I don't know how as they don't exist).

I think it would be an idea to avoid buying him any Strategy, RPGs, Ol' Adventure games, Simulation or Puzzle games. I think they would probably drive him a bit nuts (when I say a bit i'm doing the opposite to exaggerating).

Nothing better. I just boil like a kettle and make that hi-pitched kettle sound. Then someone tips me over and I contribute to society by turning coffee powder/tea bags into a proper drink...

That's why I haven't played in awhile. It's rather pointless to raid naxx for 3 straight weeks and leave with absolutely nothing. The worst part is that they made me respec to resto to heal them when there are 5 other pallies, and a balance druid in the raid group.

Being the backbone healer, I should get priority on anything to help out my healing for the current raid.

balance druids cant heal very well. (neither can ferals, although I managed when 3 manning heroic shattered halls)

I don't have rage issues, I used to, quite bad... ask my brother.
But after spending five hours in safari zone for kanghaskhan my #150/150 on r/b/y, I kinda got a bit patient.
Then when that save was deleted, I hadn't got much choice but to realise it WASN'T a life support machine.

Now I spent 3 hours FAILING ttfaf on expert at the intro
    Seriously, grgygbgo...FAIL... retry...grgygbgogbgy....FAIL......grgb....FAIL
and so on and so on
But eventually I did it, and without so much as getting a little 'ticked' :)
