inventions of electric cars, hydro cars, solar cars, would definetly make it easier to remove cars run by diesel in the future

Electric cars were already invented once apon a time, they could have made a huge difference to todays world. However as we all know the top dog companies hold all the power. General Motors who produced the electric car were forced to recall every single one and crush them, due to actions and forces from the oil companies, the bush administration and the local councils. Basically what could have developed into a very sustainable concept (which was actually put into use) was crushed because the oil companies and bush wanted more $ in the pocket.

Watch the movie called 'Who killed the electric car' for more information :)

  3. I can believe that, the bush administration also silenced a man that invented a way to turn water into a fuel for cars, sort of a converter if you will, I think he lived in florida

a man in the Philippines actualy invented a car that runs purely on water but the government never funded it so it never got materialized

well it was clearly an act of sole greediness considering oil companies contibute most to the global warming

There's a car that can run on hydrogen gas and its only emissions are steam and water. The only problem is that Shell Oil own the patent.

    They bought it?

    thats a fuel cell.

Yep, but Shell own the patent, so unless they start to go bust, we'll probably never see the damned thing in action.

so they plan to sell this things if oil trade started to degrade

I'm not sure, but it'd make a lot of sense.

Hydrogen has all sorts of issues, its expensive, unsustainable, and completely unsafe. Hydrogen is pretty damn volatile, I mean when two petrol cars crash and explode its pretty big, imagine two hydro's colliding, especially if they start tanking it round.

No it wouldn't, electricity only flows when there is a circuit, and an electric car would not produce enough current to kill someone in any case.

and makers of electric cars would have tested the safety of their inventions befor releasing them out to the public

The only problem with electric cars is that you can't plug it in anywhere.. you have to pay someone to plug it in...and when you looka t your bill... Heart attack anyone?

They were simple charge at home overnight batterys for the electric cars, they also had charging stations. Overnight there is a massive surplus of electricity that is produced and not used, Charging an electric car overnight is both more sustainable because it uses otherwise wasted power, and cheaper (i dont know about the US) but here our power is charged at a different cheaper rate overnight.

Well, but if you have a power saver, it doesn't absorb the excess AC currents from your other appliances

there is no such thing as excess current, a devices draws the current it needs and no more.

Yeah, I think I saw a movie about that before...
