global warming is great. we had little to no snow this year. in addition, it wasn't as cold as it typically was during the winter season here in NYC.

global warming, a continuing global warfare that will win against the human race.

If you say its getting warmer in NYC then it agrees to my theory

i'm not sure what the specific degree, but i believe we hit near 70-60 degrees in the middle of winter.

ok what happened during the last ice age is that all of the ice sheets in iceland and greenland and the arctic melted into small pools which eventually formed one massive lake held back only by a dam of ice. The ocean currents regulate the earths temperature and are powered by both differences and changed in heat and differences and changes in salinity. This is what we call the Thermo-saline pump. When the dam of ice broke it poured a huge amount of cold, fresh water right into this pump causing it to fail and pretty much stop completely. This same thing is happening now. Places in the southern hemisphere will get warmer, while much of the northern will get colder. If the Thermo-saline pump stops again, the entire of europe is likely to freeze over, permanently.

    Yeouch!

You mean it might become extremely cold up north & extremely hot down south?

    Damn that's tough :-[

yeah and thats when world war 3 will break out because america will get frozen over and they will want to move every one to a country but as they have been dicks to every one no country will want to take them on so they will take it by force. WWIII, world gets nuked, ice age happens regardless, world repairs itself, the world and all the animals within it are happy and every thing is better off without the human race wrecking everything.

I think the world is beyond repair already.

or is global warming a way how the earth gets rid of inhabitants to give way to another evolution

extinction is a natural process yes. Its only a matter of time before we as a species is gone. But that doesnt mean the world will end. Many other species will live on.

so global warming might be a natural phoenomenon that happens every era and who knows it might be the one that made dinosaurs extinct also

it is natural, just not at the rapid rate that its happening now, which is why its so much worse.

    who knows?
the only theory(i think) we got about the dinosaur extinction is the meteor

theres no really that much evidence regarding the extiction of dinosaurs but who knows global warming might be the cause of human extinction

there were several things which caused the dinos end. The meteor played a big part, as did entering a iceage, a large part was also resource depletion. All 3 put severe pressure on such a large species all at the same time. Plants died, so the vege eaters died, in turn the larger predators fell soon after. Though not all died, many species slowly evolved into animals we have today. Birds (namely the Chicken) are the closest living relatives to the mighty T-Rex. So when you have chicken for dinner you are actually eating the great great great great great great great great... you get the point..... grandchild of the T-Rex.

to think t-rex look like chickens but how did the meteor hit the earth shouldn't it be burnt out in the earths atmosphere before even reaching the earths surface?

it was too big to burn up completely.
