    "going down". They get earthquakes all the time. So do parts of America.
    Earthquakes aren't new.

    Technologically, weather forecasting is the least advanced thing we have, and always will be. We can't read the future, we can just guess by what we see around us.

    This damn quake shifted the earths axis. The days will be slightly shorter, and it changed the speed of earths rotation. 2012 here we come!

    Just to add to the first bit...
    there was another one in turkey this morning...
    bringing us pu to the total of 4 medium to large earthquakes in the last month (Haiti, Chile, Taiwan, Turkey)
