brain age is not supposed to make you smarter IMO

i think it's just a way to help your brain become more alert and react and process information quicker

I have never seen a brain-train ad that says that, local ot youtube.

    anyway
Yes it does the same thing for your brain as playing advance wars or something
No it is not a scam
Yes surfing the internet stimulates a lot of the same functions
Yes I have and like the game
And finally, Its a videogame, it's not a school course, it's not the cure for polio, it's a videogame, treat it as such.

I don't agree with that. Reading and processing information at your own pace is not the same as trying to solve calculations in the shortest time possible. The latter requires much more concentration and better reflexes.

I don't believe these types of games do make you smarter, but it's something that gets the old brain cells working.

Just a bit of fun really.

There have been some games that have improved my kids (aged 7 & 4) reading, spelling and maths.

Brain training can't even read what I write

I always found the Brain Training ok with handwriting recognition. It's the voice recognition that lets it down.

"Maths Training" game wouldn't recognise my "4's"
