I don't remember where this is from exactly but it was in a old gaming mag, and I liked it so I started drawing it.


Haven't had the chance to finish this one yet.

I really like that one. The other ones are great too, but this is my favorite, 'cause it's so realistic while other are more like symbols. ^^'

Tattooing is how I make a living. I work for myself by putting ads on craigslist, and otherwise word of mouth. It's the best job I ever had and I get paid great!

I got a tattoo machine for xmas a few years back and just pushed on since then.

Best way to study for tattooing though is to score an apprenticeship in a shop. It is easy to cause a lot of damage to someone if you don't know what you are doing, I learned that part the hard way all by myself lol. There are a lot of things that need to be taken into consideration apart from the art itself, each tattoo needs to be treated almost like you are doing a small surgery. You have to be aware of things like cross-contamination, sterilization etc.

 

I have one on under my left shoulder. ^^

Bad picture, but I don't have better atm. =P My first tattoo, Nemi-dragon. I took it as a present to myself after I gratuated from high school.

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it. ^^ you know tattoos are one of my top interest's and I'd love to become a tattooist. ^^ I guess I have to start making a portfolio and ask the artist who gave me my first tattoo that could I become his apprentice. =P

BTW, do you design tattoos for free?

 

The best thing you could do is to get together a portfolio, make a few copies and promote yourself to the artists you would like to learn from. Just make sure you are picky and choose someone who really knows what they are doing, and is really careful about sterilization, because ultimately that is the most important thing.

Also keep in mind being an apprentice is really tedious work, and requires a great deal of patience, but with persistence you could make a lot of money and actually enjoy doing so.

I sometimes might do them for free, but a lot of that depends on what the design is of

Well, the one who tattooed my arm is one of the best's in Finland. ^^

I'd like to have a tribal motorcycle (Not very big.) on my back. As a tattoo of my husband. But I can't draw motorcycles and especially tribal one. ^^'
