    all i can find is the patches but not a patched rom...and i don't know anything about IPS patchers and don't have time right now to learn how to use one sooo if anyone every stumbles across one let me know...right now im just going to play the other DQ games i have

    Just use the IPS patch with a clean rom...

    lol no problem...
    btw, I just started a new game in Dragon Quest VIII just a few days ago, and Im enjoying it again (for the fourth time :D)
    If you do find any news on Dragon Quest VI, please let me know though...
