I'm using a DSi XL with an R4i Sdhc card, Firmware 1.24 B
I've just finished Character Creation and my first battle, and nothing froze jet, so I think it works for me.

 

Can someone help me? Dragon Quest 9 (pre-patched) keeps freezing for me (right after I kill black night and go back to stornway or If I leave the inn after I heal) and it gets 2 black screens no matter what. I am currently using the Wood R4 1.08 and it kept freezing so I upgraded it to v1.11. I thought it would help, but the freezing continues.

why is it such a priority for file sharing sites to take of dragon quest IX. I've found batch after batch of links to the clean and prepatched and all have already been removed

 

yeah, no uploader site still have the file. All has been removed.
Damn it's getting harder and harder to find workable roms

omg thank u all!! i love u guys!! i was searching this for a few days and FINALLY!!! found here!!

 

I have read the last 20 pages and couldn't find what I was looking for so i'll ask. Sorry if the answer was there and I missed it.
I've read that it plays fine on the no$gba, but I haven't gotten it to work. I have tried clean and pre-patched roms.
The game gets all the way to where it says to press start for a new game. When I do the it says the quick save file is corrupted.
I haven't even started playing so I don't know why it says that. If anyone can help, thank you.

 

No$gba should have an auto save, have you the latest version of no$gba 2.6a ?

If not hear it is full package with bioses and firmware.bin

Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of problem running this game on my R4. I'm using Wood v1.11 and a clean ROM but it keeps freezing. Twice it's frozen right after I create my character and then another time it froze after the first battle. It seems totally random.

Are there any special steps I need to follow to get the ROM to run properly? Thanks!

 

Have you tried using the patched rom? I think that fixes it.

 

First, get Wood v1.12. Try that out. Report your progress after.

 

So what's the latest patched ROM, or a site that has the patch? :X

 

Do you just want the patched (U) version? If so, I can upload it again for you. There is a single patch for the (U) version, and a single patch for the (E) version. Once the AP is fixed, no need to try and fix it again.
