Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (AP Discussion - Page 9)

It is a random thing, I get items almost 70% of the time for every 2 chance i try ;D It is very weird as when i think that i would not get a item, i get one and vice versa ;D

 

confirming that the clean version works on wood r4 1.11

 

i got black screen whenever i enter the brigadoom(or sumthing). Else where seem fine. BTW im using galaxy eagle card(bad card, iknow >.<)
Anyone got similar problem?

I've been playing the game just fine until I must go
to the wight knight north at stornwall.

When see the knight and he gets down off the cliff
my both screens turns black and the game freezes.

Has anyone else got this problem and how do I get this fixed??

I've used the clean ROM and the pre patched one and the both have the same problem.

I use acekard 2i with AKIO 1.7 on a DS lite

 

Had same problem b4 with the clean one i downloaded the prepatched (cracktro) one and trnsfered my sav file it worked fine

I've solved my problem:

AKIO users : AKIO 1.7.1 is released
update you're AKIO and the game will run smootly.

I've got a R4 running 1.18, what's the version I should be using to get the least amount of freezes? I used a version that's supposedly the Xenom, but I've had loads of crashes, I can't get past the first battle. If anyone could give me a link that would be so helpful.

EDIT: It appears I was using the pre-patched version, gah. Xenom works fine.

 

i have been playin it for 10-11 hrs now and i havent seen a monster arena or recruitable monsters but you do end up in an abbey where you can change ur class i.e Sage,warrior etc.

 

Can anyone please either give me working link to the ROM or PM me? Pre-patched or clean. Or both. I don't really care.

 

To start: Wood R4 v1.11 is out. It can run DQ IX clean. R4 Original users (like myself), enjoy!

I will be uploading the cracked DQ IX for everybody to enjoy. I'll be putting it on Mediafire since you can upload without an account there. Also, people seem to have better luck overall with Mediafire.

Ignore the random file name, it's the game. I figure that the more random the name, the more likely it is that it may stay up just that much longer.

Download the clean version and update your 1.18 kernel to wood r4 1.11.
Works fine withouth freezes or something like that (Never saw something that looks like an AP)

 

Okay. I'm using AK2i with AKAIO 1.7.1 that supposedly fixed Dragon Quest.

When I use the clean (BAHAMUT) version, there is a black screen after the first battle.
When I use the Xenom version there is a white screen after the xenom cracktro.
And when I use the patched Xenom version, I cant make it past the title screen.

What am I doing wrong? Everyone else says it works fine on AKAIO 1.7.1

well... Ive personally never tried this game cause i couldnt play as monsters...but i guess i should try them...should I go back to the first ds version or can i jump straight onto this one??
