I've been reading this topic and I've noticed that
some people have the sameproblem with the game as I had:

When playing the game it suddenly freezes the game.

I also found the solution for my Acekard 2i with AKIO 1.7:

After searching on GBATemp.net I found out that there is a Game enabler cheat

Some people claim that the code does not work but if I turn
this code off my game freezes after loading my save.

I hope this will help other people as well as it did for me

 

It works for legit r4 running 1.18 with the Xenom patched rom.

 

hmm on second thought it does work now that i reformated. you can put R4 with YSmenu on the confirmed working list

 

The MegaUpload link for the pre-patched rom is dead. Is there any way someone can re-upload it to something like Sendspace so I can download it? I'm really looking forward to this game.

 

On Page 21, there should be a Mediafire link with the pre-patched ROM.

I guess people will have to wait for a kind soul to reupload. There has been heavy maintenance to keep this ROM offline.

Funny... This doesn't work on Wood.

 

I don't seem to find any items in jars, wardrobes, etc... Is this part of the AP? I know I'm supposed to.

Hmm well I'm using r4 wood v1.10 and it's working fine for me.
Maybe you need to re-download the firmware as the game was just released so he probably needed to update it.

The main page is wrong. I've been playing the patched ROM since it released on Wood R4 v1.10. Not one single issue. It works flawlessly.

 

OH GOD. I held up playing this game thinking it wasn't working.

You should have read some of the posts.

I said multiple times that it worked on Wood R4, and even instructed as to fixing several issues people were having with it (primarily random freezing that was fixed by a format).

 

Meh... Whatever the case, I play when I finish Earthbound.

How far are you into the game? Finding stuff in jars and wardrobes is pretty random and I think most of the time you will find nothing in them. I found the cracked rom right here in these forums: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43669.0

It's working on my R4 with YSMENU
