Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (AP Discussion - Page 9)

This is an incredible DS game, so I want everybody to be able to actively enjoy it.

 

Well I went and got a different version and reformatted my card and still didn't work. I then converted my save to nogba and got the map saved then converted back. I tried to go into the dungeon the map made and it froze up again with two black screens. So it looks like the treasure maps don't work on r4ultra.

 

That sucks. At least the rest of the game seems to work though.

 

The default settings should work, unless you're using the old version of no$gba.
Try using this package.

 

Ya everything else seems to work just fine for me. Like I said played 22 hours so far and this is the first problem I have come across. I just hope it can be fix later hate to miss out on part of the game.

 

Does there happen to be a patch for AceKard with AKAIO firmware 1.7 ?? ;A;

 

Pre-patched ROM on page 21 of this thread. It should be a mediafire link. There is no patch, the ROM was cracked and released that was by XENOM.

Is anyone getting a lil' bit of lag when traveling in dense areas( where a couple NPC's are) with a party of 4? I'm using a dstt.

 

Pretty sure this is just the way the game is. People say even the actual game cartridge has slowdown when numerous models are on the same screen.

You can find him north of Alltrades Abbey - L1, just after you rescue him at the Tower of Trades(East of the abbey).

Does anyone have a clean mediafire link?

Because I would like to have the clean rom to run it on a EZ Flash Vi, instead of having the prepatched rom.

 

You can open it by performing the 'Bow' Party tricks in-front of the tower door.

 

what do you mean by r4 (wood)?
I'm using R4, but I don't know about wood

 

is this rom safe? Because I've heard that their is a rom that bricks your DS..
