I think supporting teams like the Roosters and Bulldogs proves we're from the great state of NSW. :p

We have rugby stuff as well: We have telstra dome, Eureka skydeck, sam the koala (RIP), port philip bay...and yes, having most of the AFL in one state kicks ass.

You said that NRL is stupid, NRL stands for "National Rugby League
    I rest my case.

Rugby League is more superior than AFL because there are OTHER countries that play the sport. AFL is only played in Australia because no other country likes the sport :D

I mean honestly, who wants to watch sportsmen running with a football in their hand wearing singlets? :p

I don't mind AFL, it's just that most AFL supporters hate NRL simply because they believe it's gay to wrestle around in the mud with other men.
I think a full contact sport is manlier than a sport that barely lets the players touch each other.

I know of rugby, my school is pretty deep into it. My roomate is a rugby player and so is one of my friends. From time to time I'll watch it on Setanta Sports.

You rest your case on what? I said I know of it...i dont really like it though...

The way you explained rugby "I don't mind AFL, it's just that most AFL supporters hate NRL simply because they believe it's gay to wrestle around in the mud with other men." Makes it sound gayer.

And you can basically do the same in AFL but not around the neck.

AFL stands for AUSTRALIAN Football league not ALL-World Football league, and whats the difference with t-shirts and singlets?

Then leave the discussion to the people who actually DO Like league.
Oh and btw, did you see the hit on price in origin III? ( Dunno If you victorians even care for rep footy) that was defiantly not gay.
