    Yes, I do.

A scratch free touch screen is worth $5-7, IMO.

If i wasn't probably my screen would have plenty of scratches due to playing of ragnarok.

acetates better than hori. My problem with hori is, the screen gets blurred when there are alot of scratches. And when not placed properly, they create "bubbles" which is kind of annoying.

    Of course :)

They protect your screen pretty well and you can get them cheap on dealextreme.com for just about $1.50 last I checked.

Yeap, got one stuck on mine for 4 years already. TWEWY scratches the screen pretty bad...Especially when I get agitated in boss battles :D
Oh and side question: I heard from a friend that if you don't change the screen protector, it'll melt somehow and wreck the screen, make it awful in a way. How true is this?!

In an store where they sell Nintendo products (like DS accesoires) you probably could get some.

Untrue. Screenprotectors are meant to protect the screens, not to wreck them.

Plus, how can it melt? The DS has no fire at the screens, does it?

I only use one on my bottom screen, the top one isn't going to get scratched.
I got a pack with my ds a few years ago and have only needed to change it once.
Even if you can use a ds without one and be fine it just gives me peace of mind.

screen protectors are kinda like condoms, you need to use them unless you want bad things to happen, or you're gay.

I completely failed at putting on my screenprotector for the bottom screen (don't ask how). Now it looks all smudgy and dusty.

But it's worth it IMO. You can buy new screen protectors, but you only have one screen (what my dad told me).

Well, you technically have TWO... but you all know what I mean :p

using screen protectors is effing awesome. The moment i put it on i never regret it. First of all, i did not worry about scratching the screen due to dust particles or fingerprints. Second of all, i NEVER have to wipe the screen- it feels smooth ALWAYS.

Yeah because its only recommended for the touch screen. :)

you obviously don't know how commas work. It was meant as two reasons why you wouldn't use a protector, not "using a screen protector is gay"
