Do you have an accent

Since accents do not just Manifest within the English language as it does in others, I can honestly say that yes, I do speak with an Accent.

My dialect of Tagalog is Manileño, which is different from what people from Bulacan, Batangas & Quezon uses. Also, my Kapampangan bloodline often rears its head up as I often speak with the trademark "missing h sound" in Kapampangan phonics when I'm speaking hurriedly.

However, as English is the main subject of this thread then yes, I have the Filipino accent when using English as exemplified by these Youtube Videos:

Not to downplay it or anything, but I'm pretty sure that 90% of us know at least a little Te Reo.

 

And i'm sure 10% of that 90 can actually pronounce it correctly.
