Do not buy these flashcarts, avoid at all costs.

Sorry but i hate it that people think we need to avoid cards like R4!
to avoid a card that can blow up your ds or something ok.
But come-on for those cards we heve things called FIRMWARE.
Like if you put the new firmware Wood R4 on your R4 origial (witch we have to avoid) its one of the best Flashcards out there!
So please edit your first post and only post cards that are realy crappy or even harmful for you ds.
i want to hear something like yea the R4 has other firmware witch make's it a great card but still i recoment a ... that is something that is helpful!

Avoid R4 at all cost. If you buy one now, it's almost 99% sure that it's a clone/fake.

 

Avoiding it is recommended because you can get a better cart for just a little more money.

Seems silly wasting money on a clone when you could get the real thing with better support/future upgrades/support.

 

but thats not what you say you say avoid the R4 also then just write below the R4 section that if you buy an R4 that you will have so much change (lol_) that its fake!
PS. all R4 card that i've buyed in stores (4 Cards) are all Not fake!

Yeah.. Buy 100 R4's and one is real. So, that's a really big chance. So don't take any risk and avoid it.

Congrats, your 4GB micro SD is useless.
All official carts don't support SDHC.

 

THEN IF YOU READ THIS SITE YOU CAN ALSO GO TO THE OFFICIAL SITE AND READ THAT IT ONLY SUPPORTS SD-Card / Dammit!

Ok CK3, calm down. And quit capsing. Take one of these chill pills I got.

 

I <3'd my R4 until that piece of SHIT CORRUPTED MY MICRO SD CARD!!!!! 2GB FULL OF GAMES, MUSIC, and HOMEBREW ALL GONE. I turn the fucker on, get to the main menu, try to load up GTA, and both screens turn black. The screen is supposed to display a loading bar for the game. I turn the DS off, back on, boot the R4, and I get the dreaded "Loading" screen (you know, the one that doesn't go away.) I freak and take the SD card out and put it back in but i still get the dreaded loaded screen. Panicking even more, I put the SD card in the computer, click on the disk drive (E , and........ It said "This disk is not formatted. Would you like to format it now?" It would not let me access the files on the disk, which most likely were corrupted by the R4. I lost my Platinum save, Kingdom Hearts, Zelda Spirit Tracks, FF4, GTACTW, and CODWaW saves. Not to mention around 700 MB of MP3s. Unfortunately, I hadn't backed up files in about 2 months. :/ That wasnt a good day. R4 ORIGINAL 1.18 firmware. LEGITIMATE CARD. PIECE OF SHIT. I now got an Acekard 2i and its a fucking beast.

 

And that's exactly the reason why you should back up your files. Could happen to every card. It's too bad, but it was your own fault, and I think you back up your files now

 

That happened to me also, and then I bought a TTDS, but sometimes I wasn't nice to the TTDS, it got so angry and bricked my DS. End of story.

 

That YOU have buyed a real one doesn't mean the change is higher to OTHERS.
The change is around 1/100 that you get a REAL one. 99/100 that it is a CLONE.

 

Um, so the ones that really have problems are those flash carts mentioned at the first page right?
Do any other carts have any problems or fakes?
Like edge for example?
