Stop spamming the thread. I think if aliens were around they would have already either destroyed us or revealed themselves.
Wrong ;D Aliens are smart not to destroy us straight away, unlike you ;D Why must they revealed themselves when Mankind can't seem to find their homeland XD
Do Aliens Exist? > Probably. Do I care? > Yes! Just think of all the yummy things they would have. They might even have l-l-like, a specialized circulation system to utilize/transport multiple gases! Or heck, fly-eyes, or something! Imagine what we could do to them... *_* ...Assuming they're not superior enough to wipe us out, that is. Maybe the fabled 2012 is their D-day, p'raps?
its already known whats going to happen in 2012, and its not alien attacks. there is supposed to be a solar storm, in which the sun emmits the most EM from it and will disrupt our electronics. so in 2012, we wont be able to use RomU!!!!!!!
I suppose xD The world always seem to be ending. I remembered in 2000, there were people running around claiming the world's going to pop at the end of the millennium. Same thing went for 1999. (Wasn't there even some show that claimed 999 was in fact, the upside down of 666?) The hype wasn't as big as the one for THIS doomsday tho. Or do I err?
The universe is a really big place. I mean REALLY big. I find it impossible that Earth is the only planet in the entire universe capable of harbouring life.
Did you know that recently a new planet was discovered that planet its called gliese 581 g (i know it sounds like a new smartphone r.r) but you have to check this review, theres almost a 100% probability that life exists in that planet http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2010/sep/29/earth-like-planet-gliese-581g
It does not. The ancient Mayans NEVER claimed the world would end in 2012, that is a modern invention.
its true, the only thing is that the mayan calendar ended in 2012, but that doesnt mean the end of the world
are you sure? i think it was that it ended, thats why there is all that sayings of mayans predicting the end of the earth and all in the year 2012. im not sure, i cant find relevant info on this
no, the long count calendar moves on to the 13th bak'tun (a bak'tun is 300+ years) and the calendar resets. Just like the gregorian calendar does every year.
Since using highly advanced telescopes we have been able to detect new forms of other planets in nearby galaxies, such as the exoplanet in Andromeda. We just might be able to get a glance of what they might look like if technology doubles at this rate. I could only wonder how other species of that place might look like. May be it contains biological life similar to ours or maybe it could have early stages of life in protozoan lifeforms. Still it brings up a question of, "If there were aliens out there how come they have not made direct contact with any organization? Or why haven't they committed total annihilation upon the human race yet, even though they did make an appearance?
@tehuber: Well I guess you could put it that way. But just because we are so all caught up in the problems of Earth, it would take a while for the Sun to blow up in our faces or until someone decides to push the Nuke button. Have you seen Fire in the Sky?
