Well I guess this is partly true. They haven't been much good games lately but that doesn't means their is none at all. Well when I'm choosing games to play I usually look at the graphics first. If I like the graphics I will try it. If I like it then I will continue playing it or stop playing if it's bad. But I also tried games that others recommend to me and I have to say they're usually good even if they're lacking in graphics and whatnot. and of course game reviews.

    Whee and YAY!

I got lucky yestreday and bought an ancient issue of Score magazine (i like to read the old issues, damn funny) and there was a DVD with the Fallout Trilogy on it :D I can finally play F: Tactics in english! I was even thinking of skipping work and just playing.

But seriously i'm pretty happy, that i bought that old mag, it was old-school games themed issue. Those guys just rock!

    Agreed, 100%.

Just the other day! I started up my Genesis emulator, and jammed a little Sonic 3 and Knuckles. And it was just so dandy; fun, fast, colorful and tricky, all in a little 8MB package.

The other OTHER day, I booted up MGS4. Now don't get me wrong: MGS4 and actually, every MGS, is just my fave, no doubt. But it's just so complex. There's so much going on. There's no simplicity anymore. There's no 2-button control scheme: there's a million different things someone can do.

Oh well. That's my take. :)

I've yet to play MGS4, but i've atleast wanted to "touch" it. I have almost every game from the series except the Game Boy and PSP ones. MGS humor FTW!

It's surprising how much content the developers were able to squeeze into 30 MB :D I still play games like Betrayal at Krondor <--- wonderful story.

Too bad, that not every FPS isn't like Serious Sam, Doom or The Painkiller series. Unlock the safety on your gun and let the lead fly. Who cares about the lame stories we are presented in today's FPS. It's all the same, except the main guy has a different haircut :/ There are a few exceptions to this though.

Well Half-Life 2 for instance, i hate the shooting parts, but the story was the main engine that made finish the game.
