    I've noticed that earlier than you did, when they rush/made the GameCube when Sony Launched the PS2.

    Who's to say they aren't here already?

    Actually, with what happened with the N64 versus the PSOne & the GamCube versus the PS2 & the rapid development of newer Nintendo handhelds originally was meant to keep the company (Nintendo) on top of the console wars. But yeah, with the DS, DSi & this new 3DS they probably added the concern to stop Piracy as one of their core agendas.
