Yes, but there's not much to know about it.

yeah cause it's more of a psychological based "problem" than a physical one, and you never know when you can get that deja-vu feeling, making research on it even more difficult

deja vu is nothing but a mindtrick telling that it seems familiar, your mind then latches on to the current situation and melds it with the memory. thats it

I doubt that's the way it goes :p
but I'm pretty sure that memories have alot to do in this, memory has always been tricky to study

memory is hard to study because there are more than short term and long term

and you can't really "extract" them,
actually, psychological stuff is really hard to study, until we can create a mind reader, I dont think the psychological departments are going to do much advancing compared to other scientific departments

    that is techincally wrong....

I had no idea that there was a technical definition, I would love to read one.

Sadly there does seem little to be gained from the de-ja-vu experience. As an occultist I have difficulty in finding patterns in de-ja-vu that could be used. Perhaps study in racial memory could help, I have my doubts.

try linking each deja vu and you'll see a pattern, i found one already

Interesting, feel free to PM me on this with some details, I am honestly interested. This goes out to any that have de-ja-vu and can see a pattern. It would be real nice to compile some info on this.

How does even one person know if he/she has experienced a REAL deJa vu?

-I mean how do I know if it is a REAL one?

    that's his question
even if he gets one, how could he know if it's a deja vu or not?

ohh... well when you get it whatever you're doing you'll stop and try to think back when did that happen before

You will know because you will feel as though you have experienced whatever you are doing at that particular moment the exact same way before. Meaning, you were in the same place, doing the same thing, at the same time, but you do not recall ever doing it in your memory, but feel as though you have

Yes, timmy has a pretty good example
