I spent a lot of time in tech help when I first started here. I easily have the bulk of my posts sitting in there through all the pages. It was more active down there when DS downloads were up.

I think I've been in that section... once maybe? Too much work for me. I actually kind of like the DS Roms being down. They aren't hard to get in other places, and besides the occasional "Where are the ds roms? never coming back? fuck you romulation!" thread, it makes it more so the people are here for the community.

The community does feel that much tighter now that the people who were just here for the DS ROM's have been weeded out. Plus, it caused a few to discover the forums and decide to stick around.

I actually found the forums after the ROMs were down. It's really only the big Internet community I've participated in.

The last forum I was in was a small tight knit community, but most of the really good members left. Many that are left today turn every thread into one about sex since most are pre-teens to nerdy teenagers who apparently don't leave the house enough. Don't get me wrong, I liked the place, but I have a hard time trying to find my place there anymore.

Romulation nice. People are openminded, and even though there's plenty of pervertness to go around, people can be mature when they want to. Plus everyone like pirating. ;D

People can be pervy here, but in small acceptable doses. It was freaking rampant at the other place. The most innocent thread could be dragged off topic into a thread about sex in a matter of minutes. It's really hard to have any kind of serious, or even just a fun conversation.

I really like the community here though. It's really fantastic.
